And Adamrocks, according to her, Daisy daisy_Roots dayflower1 scorpiobert Adam didn't do Kickin In, it was only the band, my vid of it is cut in half, battery died. Daisy daisy_Roots Adam did his outfit change from the blue suit to the jeans during Kickin In |

Why doesn't the band play some other Adam song from the GNT Era or some cover when Adam is changing outfits?!j/s |

Remembering Cape Town, expecting Johannesburg – Adam Lambert’s African SafariHighly conceptualized, carefully planned, elaborately designed, Adam Lambert’s Cape Town concert has shown how important this African premiere was to the artist. ‘Trusting the bitch’ to a fault has never let me down: along with some other fellow Glamberts, I happily proclaimed this very performance the forerunner of the highly anticipated Trespassing World Tour, because that is just the way we like it! etc Aleksandrakv, I had to delurk just to express how much I admire this post. Your descriptions and analysis are insightful and your prose is poetic. Watching the videos last night and today, I had a few thoughts of my own but they are much more mundane 1 - Adam is so smart to keep the staging so simple, just two platforms, a set of steps, a couple stools, and some colored lights - not even lasers! it makes it cheaper and easier to transport (everything would fit in a U-Haul), to adapt to any venue, and to let the audience focus on the music and musicians. 2 - the costumes! He's still playing dress upm still repurposing his old clothes (lightning bolt) and borrowing from the halloween box (wigs!) Did you hear him gleefully talking about his fringed sleeves during the band intro? lol. That final yellow/black jacket reminded me of his Strut coat from the Glamnation tour. Speaking of costumes, the long red tunic that Lenny Kravits wore in the video that was posted would look fabulous on Adam! 3. Full circle - The "Kiss and Tell" kid dancing with his buddies - thanks to whoever found the old photo, that was great, and I hope Adam saw it. Time to go to Lambossesed website and check out her edited videos - back to lurking ... |
