I like and can understand both types of posts. I may hear something and not understand what it was. I do understand when Adam is singing Underneath and I can't breath or keep my eyes open. It is an education as to why one thing moves me to tears and I only love something else. Its like I love classical arias but don't understand why I can listen to Pavarotti for hours, can enjoy Domingo and turn off Carreras. Go figure. But with great people like atopers it all works out in the end. "Kumbaya" in the 1960s sense:

The problem, if that's what it is, comes during a night like the Cape Town show, when the excitement level is so high and we're seeing amazing tweets from people at the show, new outfits, new songs, etc... but then as the videos trickle in, after a brief initial flail, the posts start to point out the flaws "...oh, he was flat here, here and here" "the VJJ's are too loud. They need to go" etc... and it kind of takes the wind out of the sails for some of us. I am not saying it's wrong to posts those things, I'm just saying trying to explain why there is sometimes conflict over it. Now, THAT I can understand. But then, I didn't do that. I merely answered to someone who specifically asked about the vocals in Underneath, and it kinda snowballed from that. Next time, I think it would be good to direct whoever asks about the vocals to the Vocal Masterclass thread, and then everyone can be happy. Don't you dare do that! Music discussion is one of the main reasons I come here. I love reading different opinions. As Mahailia wisely said, we all have different types and styles of posting and being Adam fans. This is the place to share those thought. That's the point of a discussion board, isn't it?

Do I sense another dancer here on the board, dancygeorgia? Of course, I mean, your atop name is a dead giveaway.
dancygeorgia, do you do other types of dance as well? Yes, I also do ballroom dancing, International Standard, International Latin and American Rhythm. And we have a local belly dance troupe that performs at charity events, festivals, nursing homes, etc. Women of all ages & sizes - we have lots of fun dressing up!
awww...how fun!! With 2 little ones, I really have to pick & choose what I can do; I really wish I had at least 32 hrs a day so I can get to do everything that I need and I want! I had to stop doing belly dance a couple of years ago, but I try to stick with ballet & jazz, every so often I'll take a hip-hop. I miss belly dancing though, the fun of dressing up and performing.

Oofta, Adam. That is all. Oooh, looks like fun ;D I knew about body sushi, but didn't think it could work with anything liquid. Live and learn, live and learn... 8-)

The discussion started today with Albiku wanting to share what she was feeling after some comments on the Cape Town thread. I thought it might be okay to post what I, and maybe some others, were feeling to provide the other side of the coin. And the LEAST thing I wanted was to start some polarized discussion about it. That's why I answered Mys*&@^#r and Juniemoon via PM. So maybe we should stop now and let it go. I understand what you said, and next time we only have to deflect any questions to the proper threads. I guess that would kinda solve most of the problem. Hopefully. albiku I just want to point out that this is not something you did or created and I don't want you to feel that way. It happens on every concert thread, going way, way back to GNT, long before you were here. As I said before, it is what it is and will probably always be ;D.

I love everyone's different opinions. They may share something I have never even thought of. People are so different and have a variety of ways to express their impressions. I love those differing opinions. Even if I don't agree, I figure they are allowed to think and say anything they want. I think that comes from living in a "free speech" society. Lord knows, we have heard, seen and said everything in the good old USA. Makes life very interesting.
