guess i should have made a sep post - the red is not a tan. it's his red hair and freckles. the hair stops at his wrist so the hands seem very white.

Cassie, I am late to this discussion. I grew up with deaf parents and I am hard-of-hearing myself, teacher of the deaf, graduate of Gallaudet, blah, blah, blah. Isn't it surprising how often speakers take this stance when they are presenting. With that hand shape. I know what you might be experiencing, you are listening to their words. However at the same time a voice in the back of your head is saying, "Vagina, vagina. vagina......" It is kinda distracting. Aren't you tempted as an interpreter to voice it aloud?! Someone needs to teach Adam a more appropriate sign for his interests.  |
