FG is damn high on my Adam list - it is perfecto!! It's by far the best AI studio recording EVEH! glory be, I second that, jazzrocks! What he does with that song is just..NVM  |

To tell you the truth, how many albums could Pia really sell? If she had the fan club on AI, she'ld still be on the show. I dunno. The AI world and the real music world seem pretty different sometimes. Sometimes people we think will sell like gang busters coming off Idol don't and vice versa. And then we have people who are huge stars in the pop world and sell tons of records who would never even make it past audition rounds on Idol. *shrugs* If Pia can hook up with the right producers and song writers and whatnot, she could definitely be very successful. She has the looks of the pop starlets but with the pipes that many don't possess. And maybe this time she will get the necessary criticism about her lack of performance skills and her lack of engaging the audience--the stuff the AI judges totally failed on doing. Plus I've always thought it's easier for a woman to succeed in the pop world but maybe that's just me. I wouldn't count her out just yet. There are A LOT of people who don't watch Idol (about, what, 20 mill watch in a country full of about 300 million? That's a lot who don't watch this show), so basing any future successes of hers on the fact that idol watchers didn't vote for her may not be very accurate. She very well could be another Daughtry or Jhud. I am not holding my breath, and really don't care either way, but I wish her the best because she seems like a nice person and she is genuinely talented and I would want her to succeed over the autotuned "singers" that are forced down our throats. |
