~~ what I love about this artist (besides the realistic "detailed" art) is the insight/background she gives us about the creative process ~~

Artist's Comment : Finished at last 8D - The ever so glamorous, eccentric and insanely attractive Adam Lambert. My final commissioned drawing is finally done! This is for ~Eel-Skin-Beatrice, who also commissioned the Elvis Presley drawing a while ago. Hope you like it love (: thank you for being so patient with me! Thought some strong contrasts this time wouldn't harm :D kinda fits the guy, doesn't it? Killed quite a lot of soft pencils too! D: Took me about 50 hours to draw with:
- 4H, 2H, H, HB, B, 2B & 3B 0.5mm mechanical pencils - 2 tissues, 2 tortillions, 3 Q-tips & 2 Cotton pads for blending - A3 sized Hahnem -
Here's the previous (and only) Work in Progress of my Adam Lambert drawing:
:icon says plz: Whoa I'm pale! Told ya it needed a bit more shading ;DDD
Drawing of singer Adam (g)Lambert for ~Eel-Skin-Beatrice, drawn on A3 size. I really like this guy. He stays very true to his own wishes and preferences it takes courage to do that. : heart: I've been working on this (and 4 other projects) on and off for about a week. Large scale drawings seem to take my priority above the usual standard size that I use (which is A4). Much more challenging (: and easier for adding details. The 2 supplies on the right are an eraser pencil and an HB mechanical pencil, which I used to smoothen the darker areas. So far I'm pretty much done with most part of the face, although it still requires some shading here and there. But that's the fun part of showing a work in progress
- you can really see how a drawing forms itself until it's finished. Basic layers were done with regular hard (H) pencils, and I used mechanical pencils to make it look softer and sharper. Hope you like it so far C: more updates s00n!
