Congratulations, Fifth Harmony fans. It was a close race ... and very exciting ... :D Yes, congrats to the dedicated fans of Fifth Harmony. I watched the video and think that they are sweet girls. But not to be compared with "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named"

IMHO,Scapegoating a favorite thing to do by dictators..a diversion,takes people's minds off losing their hard won rights..Horrible My Dad and his family left Russia because of the oppression.. looks like nothing has changed,this time it's the gay community to feel the hate. Adam has been to many places that are anti-gay,It's good that he is going to Russia.Adam is a force of love and acceptance where ever he performs. |

What comes across from the two or three videos that I have seen from these 5H girls, is that they are more everyday/real/natural girls, so I can see how fans of the same age group can connect. Genuine always comes across as exciting.
Their issue is, imo, that now the Simon Cowell girl band manufacturing machine gets hold of them, so they will be spice girl'd up, and then the fun is gone, but S.C. and they have probably made a few millions before the magic is gone.
There singing is alright, obviously, not at a AFL level, of course, but certainly better than the Spice Girls ever were singing. Studio sweetening can do the rest. So, they are doing alright.
Wonder, whether they will also stay a rather limited fan base, kind of like us here, or whether Simon can make them blow up big. Their future is quite uncertain, if you ask me, but I have to say, that their fan-base made a good impression here, not only in numbers and dedication, but also in style. I don't care about a few crazy tweets that get pulled out to showcase the whole fan base as being nuts. That has been done with Glamberts too, ad nauseum, stuff like that does not influence me anymore, because there are always a few stupid tweets you can find in any fan base, but overall, they were just dedicated, excited for their group and pretty much having a blast, just like us. It's a good thing to see, actually.
Now I need to go and clean my palate and ears a bit. I think I'll go for Trespassing remix EP this morning.
