Matt & P!NK are amazing singers! I Don't think either one of them would be jealous or afraid of being outshone by Adam! Agreed, Mys*&@^#r...I think Adam is an anomaly in the industry in terms of praising other artists...He has gotten shout-outs from PINK, Bruno. Claude Kelly, Dr. Luke, etc at times, but my feeling is that artists are pretty insular in general. Self-absorbed in their careers. It's not a flaily world for them. I don't take their 'lack' of shmoozing over Adam personally. I am so thrilled that the artists who DO give Adam huge props are the legends. Couldn't get better IMO. And who knows what kind of feedback Adam is getting behind the scenes. We only see a blip on twitter or youtube.. Adam has industry cred and he networks so naturally. Can I just say one more time..that is one the hottest pics of Adam I've ever seen! Boy, I don't usually regret that he is gay and I'm a 'mature' woman, but today..woo..*fanning self* *thinking..thoughts*...XXXXXXX rated post. ITA. It seems that the "previous generation" stars have no problem with praising the "youngsters", but the current "names" are all about themselves... with the exception of our Saint Adam... I remember seeing Gaga (I am 95% sure it was her, but if not - I apologize for mixing her up with someone else) saying explicitly that she "does not support other artists"...I guess it is too competitive out there to be nice just for the sake of it and not for profit....

wow... what a difference time has made. The boy has def grown up. ... and what fun it is to watch the jurney including the "clubkiddays" pics ... he was quite naughty and grown up then .... pic-wise ... emotionally most likely not. To show "grownup" pics nowadays I think the ones with Sauli are most telling .... just my thoughts ... but hothothot you'r right

Do you mean this? It is translated from Japanese and I think he is talking more about the song & his songwriting strategy than he is Adam. "Matt talked about Soaked a bit to the previous issue of the Japanese magazine 'Crossbeat'. Following is translation of the article.Bellamy: ... But I rely on Chris and Dom so much whilst I sort out various ideas. I mean, I sometimes propose ideas which are not suitable for Muse or simply not good. Then they try to sort out that kind of ideas which eventually go well.Crossbeat: Could you pick up and tell us the 'not good ideas' you have come up with for example?Bellamy: I wrote a song called 'Soaked' when we were making Black Holes and Revelations, it is just like 'Nikita' by Elton Johnor that kind of tunes from 80s. According to our publisher, it's a Adam Lambert-esque song, who took the second place in American Idle, that is to say it's such music. I want to write various genres of music, classical music, pop music, and anything. I suppose Muse have the clear distinction that we must not get over, however, I sometimes cross it as a songwriter. When I'm about to do so, I can make it clear thanks to help by Chris and Dom
or this from August 2009? Matt Bellamy (Muse) on Adam Y! MUSIC: I just feel it. There's so much momentum with you guys right now, a lot of things aligning, like the Twilight soundtrack, the VMAs, Adam Lambert covering "Starlight" on the American Idol tour...are you aware of Adam's cover?. MATT: Yeah, I saw a clip of that on YouTube, and I thought it was a nice compliment, really. It's always nice when someone covers your music. It's one of the ultimate compliments as a writer and also as a band, that someone else would want to adopt one of your songs. It was cool, you know. An interesting version.. Y! MUSIC: He's been really vocal about you guys. Even on Jazz Night on American Idol, the "Feeling Good" cover he did was inspired by your version. He's given you some good additional publicity in America.. MATT: Yeah, it's cool! I think that's nice. Is he making an album soon?. Y! MUSIC: Yes, it comes out this fall.. MATT: OK, cool. Yeah, it would be interesting to hear that. ********************* Regardless of how Muse feels about Adam (and I don't think anyone knows that,) I can remember Adam saying he likes Muse several times in interviews. However, my bet is on him stopping by Allison's show. She is an opener, so theoretically, he could probably do Allison and Muse! Thanks, mys*&@^#r50. I never bothered to look up the article the commenter was supposedly quoting. Maybe something was lost in translation. Anyway, I don't get the "Adam Lambert-esque" term. I realize it wasn't Matt who coined the term, but his publisher. What does that mean? Is it good or bad? Since the original question was "not good ideas", makes me wonder. I also don't quite understand why Matt thinks Soaked was a "not good idea". I remember hearing about Matt saying his Starlight cover was "interesting" but I never knew if it was in a good or bad way. Anyway, from the two excerpts, I don't feel that Matt is that complimentary toward Adam, just the he feels flattered when anyone covers their music. And that he is thankful for Adam giving him publicity. There is no mention of what a great vocalist Adam is or that he was amazed that Adam was just a runner-up. Anyway, just my two cents.

Here is an interesting thought: You know how in general / presidential elections people don't go to vote because they feel they have "just one vote" and it does not really count? Now, in the case of such a close race like AFL vs. 5H, EACH ONE OF US who spent hours clicking on multiple tabs has the right to say: "Adam won by less than 300 clicks, and if *I* hadn't made them, he would have lost!" Every one of us can claim he made a difference now Wow, good thought: I was just clicking away when I had time. I never thought it would make much difference. Thanks all for encouraging everyone to vote. So glad it was worth it.
