Chapters have fun titles, comparing big names to Elvis Presley- “Adam Lambert is the new Elvis but with eyeliner,” “Katy Perry is the new Elvis because she likes kissing girls too”, which is an entertaining addition to the book. A definite must-read for the transgender community, especially teens going through similar issues as Gabe.

Sina: What’s your feeling regarding China after your recent trips here? Do you have any plan to hold concerts in China?
Adam: I really think the fans here are great! Yeah, I thought the Chinese fans are very enthusiastic about music and art; I can’t wait to have further interaction with fans here! And yes, I will be performing a concert on March 3rd in Shanghai at Mercedes Benz Arena. This will be my first and only solo concert in Mainland China. Are you ready? This will be the BEST party yet!
Sina: You’ve duet with one The Voice, China contestant at the Finale. What do you think about this new generation of Chinese singers? Just like you they tried to pursue their dreams of music career success through singing competition reality show. Do you have any advice or suggestion for them?
Adam: Zhang Wei is great! I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with such a talented and music loving singer. The show was fantastic too!
I think one should be prepare to make sacrifice and compromise. Music career is a gamble; you need to have patience. As long as you love music and being in front of an audience, then the path you choose is the right one.
Sina: What is the most recent album that you listened to?
Adam: I like ‘Mama Told Me’ by Big Boy & Kelly Rowland. It’s a great song.
Sina: After your concert tour with Queen, do you have any plan to collaborate with other musicians or artists in other field?
Adam: Queen is rock royalties. It’s wonderful to work with them. Freddie Mercury had such powerful voice! He was a unique icon. I really admire his talent and charisma. To me, Freddie personified Rock & Roll. [Collaboration] Haha, I’m not sure. Maybe you’ll give me some suggestion? Haha! ☺
Sina: Is there any Chinese singer that you know or like?
Adam: I’m very sorry that I don’t know much about Chinese artists. I hope I’ll have a chance to meet them when I have my concert. I welcome them come party with me!
Sina: What’s your plan for next year, career-wise?
Adam: I’m getting ready for my Asian and Eastern European concert tour. I’m excited and looking forward to that adventure!
(At the end of this article, Adam mentioned his career plan in 2013 includes international Trespassing tour, create a new album, and looking forward to opportunities to appear on TV or movies.)

Oh, God, the drama I woke up to.  First, it's not as if it was our business or anyone's business what Adam does or doesn't do when he goes out (it's Adam and Sauli's business). Second, the fact that some crays thought it right to tweet Eber and Katri about it is outrageous. Even if those claims were true, that's a very shitty thing to do. Third, the evidence points towards that guy being a stupid troll spreading BS around: no pics, other tweets denying what he said... Well, he got the backlash from the fandom police, so I hope he learned something. *Sigh* Just another crazy day in the fandom.  ETA: And WHY is my feed full of Tommy crays complaining because Tommy isn't part of the band for today? Don't RT them!!! That's it. I'm staying out of Twitter until the gala. |
