Miles Tougeaux @milestougeaux
@adamlambert Hey, a writer friend tells me you get a mention in a novel: Where You Are by J.H. Trumble.
This makes two novels in which Adam is mentioned. The other is "Sing You Home" by Jodi Picoult.

If you don't know about this family, you should look it up. Utterly amazing woman. I pulled her late son's book of poems off my shelf to share. It's really not about the poems, but his amazing spirit, though. Eternal Echoes by Mattie Stepanek, age 10 Our life is an echo Of our spirit today, Of our essence As it is, Caught between Our yesterday And our tomorrow. It is the resounding Reality of who we are, As a result of Where we have been, And where we will be, For eternity. I love this gal and looking at her sweet face you can see dear Mattie ! I was introduced through Oprah and have followed his and her life. Anyone interested in true courage...here is where you will find it.

This author has a blog and in this entry, he talks of what a big Adam Lambert fan he is. www.jhtrumble.com/blog/2010/2/20/adam-lambert-sings-with-school-band.html

"After examining the pics, the number one impression would look something like this:
ODE TO GB
I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You.
Huge apologies to Adam's glorious eyes, beautiful features, amazing smile and all around splendid physique!"
Oh, Alex! You just made my day! This is perfect! I did just skim through the thread, but don't you think for one second I failed to notice your GB flailing last night, Missy Stardust In 4 years, I have never seen a set of photos from one night where it is so impossible to ignore! I really tried to stay classy & show some decorum but it was impossible!

I stopped on page 7 to write this, it is probably late for the discussion but I wanted to add my piece anyway.Adam's band has drums, keys, guitar and bass. It can only be compared, as a band, to another 4-man band with same combination playing the same arrangement. Then we non-experts might get to speaking about skills. In any other case we speak about preferences. In other words, the examples given earlier are good if it would be the case of 4-man band vs 4-man band. But it is not. In our case here (Adam singing with his own band vs Chic) better analogy might be comparing a symphony orchestra to a string quartet or indoors futsal team to a proper soccer team - or something. Very difficult to compare those - again preferences. I find it awesome that Adam gets these chances to perform with different musicians, bands and arrangements, especially with his music. As I said earlier, I love big band sound. But there is no way that Adam's 4-man band could produce the same sounds how ever skilled they were. I don't want to compare musicians or their skills here, only state my most preferred sound landscape. I do think Trespassing is made for big arrangements that can truly express the multitude of sounds and ideas, the layers and the complexity that is packed on the tracks. Everything bigger and better for live performances surely was an option but a risk and an obligation that was not taken at this point. Adam and his band are doing a very good job and there will be more great things to come - I would hope both big and small bands, venues etc. He has the talent and the time, this is still just the beginning of it all. I know that I am going to enjoy videos of yesterday's concert for a long time - big thanks virg1877, jesslala and others! If Adam wants a full orchestral sound behind him, or just piano, horns, or 10 guitars or whatever his little heart desires then he needs to get a KORG KRONOS KEYBOARD!!!! (like Spike Edney's!!) A KORG will even give you choirs of backup singers!!

And you know who had one? Zac!! One of the many reasons that WLL in FS could never be duplicated!!
