It's absolutely amazing the publicity this 30 sec snippet has generated. Practically every music blog has tweeted about it and the consensus is that it's incredible! Does Adam really need a publicist? He seems to be doing a darn good job all by himself! Just kidding about not needing Shosh. of course he does. But he's seems to get most of his publicity from his tweets! Guy is so smart. It's unbelievable! I just tweeted all of them ( I think) and I hope no one unfollows me because of that, it was a torrent! So much love and respect... And the way they word it, for example: 4Music@4MusicOh @AdamLambert, how we love you and how we love your cover of @Rihanna's Stay.... Watch here: http://bit.ly/VbiLPo

I've listened again(and again) to Stay and I have to say it makes me incredibly sad...like Underneath. Hard to get it out of my head. Trespassing and Shady are now necessary to put me in a working mood. ..and you know, I just realized ...I feel the deep emotions without seeing his face, with him sitting and "reading" off his phone...just the divine sounds of THE VOICE...THE BREATH...THE WHISPER... I mean Rihanna was emoting with her whole body, clutching her chest and I felt nothing... ETA: Siguttarius - I LOVE your avi!!!! Thanks, Nica, for the lovely words today! I feel the same. Did we identify the two people in the keek? Methinks I spotted Isaac, to our left, i.e. Adam's right. Not sure, though... AND I also love Siguttarius' avi And her new name, hehe |

Adam should record an R&B album. His voice is just perfect for "Stay".
The other wonderful thing is that it is the clip is not "produced" and there is no wall or sound or swirling backing tracks or electro stuff. Just Adam and a keyboard.
It is also interesting that radio stations are tweeting it.

I thought of you today when I heard it, whether this was what you talked about, his voice up front and so raw and beautiful... without any distractions:) I think I finally got it And I have to say, I love it.
