evergreen, LOL!!!!  This is so OT, but I was just telling a young friend the other day about Laugh-In. She had never heard of it. (For folks much younger than myself, and not from US - a comedy variety show from the 80's.) When I played "very intresting" a compilation of the show turned up, and as soon as I get time, I'll take a longer look, but I did see Richard Nixon say "Sock it to me?" Oops - guess it was the 70's... What a treat to watch that lol....it has been a while....thanks for that! |

I use to watch Laugh-In every week! I use to love to watch the variety shows (Dinah Shore, Perry Como, Sid Caesar, Red Skleton, Ed Sullivan etc). And, I'm really aging myself now, I loved watching The Loretta Young Show, Twlight Zone, One Step Beyond, and The Alfred Hitchock Hour where a story was told and acted every week. I was fascinated with shows like these when I was young. And, yes, I was one of the kids who ran home from school so I could watch American Bandstand every afternoon! lol
