Sorry, another OT post, but I think this is really important for Adam in the future: From a NY Times article dated today: "This week the Billboard Hot 100, the magazine’s 55-year-old singles chart, takes a evolutionary step by incorporating YouTube plays into its formula. The move comes just in time for Baauer’s song “Harlem Shake,” the latest viral video phenomenon, which will make its debut at No. 1 this week thanks to the change."

I think we knew this was coming soon, but now it's here. Something to keep in mind when Adam releases his next single. Hope it's okay to post this in the news thread. Wasn't sure if it belongs here or the Numbers thread. Does that mean that something viral but totally meaningless like Gangnam Style would count? That's not at all appealing. |

Does that mean all these fan vids we're watching of Adam's performances will count towards Billboard numbers? Did you guys actually listen to this Harlem Shake song? I couldn't even listen to a full minute of it. It sounded awful. Many comments on the video that they ripped off Gangam Style. |

OMG you guys!!! I had eye surgery yesterday, got the eye patch off today, have one mother of a swollen black eye and squinting like a bi*ch to read this thread and you are talking about piercings   awww... is your eye really painful? :-/ Fortunately not painful, if my other eye wasn't squinting in sympathy I'd be good  |

IMO - this is good news overall, its taking the radio bigots out of the picture to a certain degree! |
