Good morning! I am 68 years old grandmother from Northern Finland and had incredible opportunity to be at Hammersmith Apollo 11th July 2012. I have been Queen fan since the beginning and also I have followed Adam Lambert's career since his first audition in American Idols. I love Adam's voice, character and activity on stage. I prepared my concert trip reading different forums and watching and listening videos. But the fact is, the live concert blew me away. I sung, clapped my hands and cried a little bit. It was really amazing, happiest moment for a very long time. Adam Lambert really respect Queen and Mr Mercury and he does not want to imitate Freddie. He is Adam Lambert with his unbeliavable voice and appearance. Brian and Roger, the brilliant professionals, they know what they are doing. They want to share Queen's magnificent music with us on stage. They made a very appropriate choice choosing Adam. Since my London concert trip I have been watching hundreds of videos of Adam's concerts. What a performer! A few weeks I have been reading Adamtopia and followed the WAG-tour. It's only one month left and Adam will be in Helsinki 22.3.2013 and I have a VIP ticket near the stage! It's so difficult to waite Welcome. So glad you have joined in and will be going to the Helsinki show. Will be looking forward to your recap of the show.

I've been watching The FYE and Fever vid from Japan 2. His low register sounds really strong and full on these songs. I enjoyed hearing it in contrast to the high notes. I also love that little smile at the very end of FYE. Adam, the theater kid, cracking himself up at the OTT show he is giving us. "Did you see that? See what I just did there? I had fun. Did you have fun?" Then, the hilarious banter where this black leather and fringe clad, slightly S&M figure morphs back into the boy playing dress-up, letting us get a peak back stage behind the lights, and further back to a childhood of imagination. Priceless. Then, still the grinning theater kid, he proceeds to tell us he is going to become the sleezy, sexy, crazy figure. Get ready! Bam! Fever.
These two songs remind me of Cabaret. FYE is Willkommen. "Welcome, stranger. We are gonna give you quite a show. Wink. Wink. Smirk." Adam is the MC - a bit dark, provocative, and dangerous. The boys in Fever are like the Kit Kat girls. Dripping with sleeze and sexy moves. OTT. Decadent.
It all is wonderful, creative, fun theater, seen from the front of the house, and from back stage. Bravo, Adam!

I was at the exact same show on July 11th, although that wasn't my first time to see him. I got addicted to his voice in live shows starting from the idol tour..it just doesn't seem real. I've actually seen him so many times now that I have lost track (somewhere between 20-30 shows). He still blows me away every single time.
