I really liked the intro to OOL as well. Heartfelt as well as a good explanation of the shift in the song. ETA - Mys*&@^#r posted some dancing cats and $ signs about the non-tour, late on yesterday's thread. Can someone please bring it over - these numbers are very good! Thanks for figuring this all out, mys*&@^#r. Those cats are always a cause for celebration. I figured out about how much Adam is making from these concerts. You know what is really, really cool about doing this? The big venues in eastern EU had seating charts that show how many seats are still available! I am here to tell you guys, that sports arena in St Petersburg only has less than 1,000 seats left! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Also, I was going to just estimate the tickets prices and say $45 was a good average. WRONG!!! These concerts are selling for much, much higher. I figured out an average price for each venue. It ranges from $50 in Indonesia to $100 in St Pete. Most averaged around $80. Sooooooooooo, the shows had a gross of around $6,225,000. I used the Billboard "MoneyMakers" figure of 34% that goes to the artist, after manager, promoter fees, and costs are deducted from the gross. Sooooooooooooooooooooo, "ta, da!" Adam is making about $2,116,500. (If those big venues completely sellout, add around another 75K to this for Adam)  Also, I did not include M&Gs or Merchandise or showing up at night clubs! I wanted a concrete figure. The 34% is something I've been searching for 4 years!! So the extras are just cream on the top! Question from the very uninformed. Do all the expenses for band = salaries, hotels, air travel, food, etc - come out of the figure you gave for Adam or are they covered in the other 66%? |

nica - her videos are indeed stunning!!! I wish she had more than four! I have videos coming out of my kazoo! Cannot stop saving them even though I know there will (hopefully) be many more to come from this fabulous WAG tour! And he seems to get better with every performance. How is that possible??? How? Seeing the posts here and all the flaily tweets on twitter it's pretty obvious that our love for this man has grown and continues to grow with every day. With every concert. A year or two ago I never thought it would be possible to be even more obsessed than I was then. Where will it all end? Rolling around on the floor flailing............. Of course, he is paying his band. I have no idea what those guys and ladies get paid  |

I've been lost for days in these amazing vids. I've used up all my superlatives. Besides, Adam is beyond words now anyway. I begin and end each day with Stay and Underneath until I can't listen anymore. During all my spare moments in between, I am dazzled by all the rest of the concert songs and dancing. They run through my mind when I'm working and out and about participating in life. He's unreal.

Every time I see the word Kanazawa, I think it says Kwanzaa. Since it's snowing outside where I am, it seems entirely appropriate. Hasn't this storm been nuts?! I am in Roy and it is deep and slippery. I know we are not in the northeast or in the south, but I am DONE with this winter. What with the ice storm last month and the dang cold. SPRING COME NOW!! At least Adam is a wonderful diversion. It is always spring and warm where he is. |
