Have we already moved on from the banana??? Just got home and saw the vids!! And the other 'Banana' songs. I have one more, but it will date me!! Don't fucking care!! During my hippie years, a song wafted through the airwaves called "Mellow Yellow". Believe it or not, the odor of smoked banana peels mingled with Mary. A portion of the lyrics say: "Electrical banana It's gonna be a sudden craze Electrical banana It's bound to be the very next phase They call it Mellow Yellow, quite rightly . . . Haven't read the thread yet, and can't until later when I get home, but just wanted to quickly share - I sent my sister vids of Adam singing Stay/Underneath a few days ago. She has always been neutral about Adam. Her favorites are Jason Mraz types. Today I got this email: I don't understand why Adam Lambert is not completely famous with that voice. He deserves to be for his voice alone. I couldn't agree more. People just need to hear that voice and see him live. that's great! Adam needs to be on TV where a big viewing audience can see him and sing some ballads that will totally capture people who, like your sister, like the Jason Mraz type sound. They'll see the other side of Adam along with the great' bad ass rock star'! 8-) |
