Many video downloaders will only download from certain web sites, YouTube being the most popular. From what I have seen, I think this is a matter of how the software code for the downloader was written. And I would be surprised if the English language downloaders are coded to work with the Chinese video web sites.The problem could also be that the web site does not allow downloading of videos. Or the particular video file is specified as not downloadable. Also some of the Chinese video sites seem to have their own video download software that you have to install. The software program I posted earlier is written by the Chinese programmers and is designed to download videos off youku and yinyuetai. The said vid is downloadable, at least that's what the owner told me. |

Hi guys *waves*. Just a quick drive by post. RL has been insane for weeks and for the first time in 4 years, I have been almost completely out of the loop in Adam's world *sobs*. I've missed so much goodness with the WAG Asia concerts, but am ecstatic for our Asian (and soon to be European glamberts) who will be able to experience Adam 'alive' and either will have their Adam cherry 'popped' or will be able to see him again. So, so happy for you all *blows kiss smiley* But I'mma a pretty happy little camper today *insert delirious*, after weeks of stress and bedlam trying to co-ordinate the purchase of one house and the sale of my Mum's house at the same time , last night - finally (3rd try lucky...lol) I won the auction for my wee dream house by a beach. I fiannlly, f'king, DID IT!!! And it's only 11 minutes away from where I live now - oh the irony...lol ![unknown.gif]()
Gawd, now I just have to downsize drastically and filter 20 years of crap out *gulps* #soworthittho
Miss y'all and missing my Adam daily obsession, fix idle curiosity check-in  sfm, but I apparently have a ~reallife again - for now...lol

Seventeen doesn't sound that much to me. You've got 9 onstage performers. Two, or maybe three sound guys (from the pic posted), a manager and an expeditor, drum tech, guitar tech, a lighting tech, a props/costumes/stage manager type... that's seventeen, easy. Doesn't seem extravagant or excessive to me. The promoter (or the sponsor) covers Adam's travel & hotel expenses, maybe even some of his staff members'...depends. In Shanghai, Adam was put up at Le Royal Meridien in the Presidential Suite where Putin once stayed, almost 9000USD a night! Pat came across an article about that particular suite, maybe she'll post it later for us. Yes, Adam has to pay his crew but his managers are on DMG salary (yes, part of it essentially comes from their cut from Adam's touring and other endeavors). Stage hands don't make much, and from what I've heard and read, average sound techs make about $1000 to $15000 a week, same for the backup singers; the backup band, they're basically musicians for hire not part of a real band 'cuz Adam Lambert is a solo artist, they probably run anywhere from $2000 to $4000 a week since Adam is a generous soul, London would be the most expensive and Tommy the second. (According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median hourly pay for average American musicians is about $22.39.) 17 is not a big entourage for touring at all, and from what it looks so far, Adam and DMG have managed a fairly cost effective tour.
