Just saw this in TV Guide, regarding Idol: "Thursday's results shows will also feature a new 'Where Are They Now?" segment that catches up with past Idol superstars like Adam Lambert, as well as former contestants who have fallen from fame." Love that they name-checked Adam as one of the successes! hhmmm.. this means I have to watch Idol tomorrow night... Thursday night should be at 9pm right? |

Congratulations to all going to San Diego!  P.S. vivlite, I also thought at first that it was South Dakota. I have a running joke with another Adam friend that Adam will play the Corn Palace one day. How glam can you get?  ...great minds and all.. :D I've actually never gotten to see the Corn Palace and it may sound hokey to some, but it is a famous landmark. Takes me back to my Dakota roots..Adam's played other ~exotic locales. I thought this was interesting: OT The Palace is redecorated each year with naturally colored corn and other grains and native grasses to make it “the agricultural show-place of the world”. We currently use 13 different colors or shades of corn to decorate the Corn Palace: red, brown, black, blue, white, orange, calico, yellow and now we have green corn! A different theme is chosen each year, and murals are designed to reflect that theme. Ear by ear the corn is nailed to the Corn Palace to create a scene. The decorating process usually starts in late May with the removal of the rye and dock. The corn murals are stripped at the end of August and the new ones are completed by the first of October. I imagine this is old news since I am usually a day late and a dollar short. ALF is selling all their merchandise for a $1 each, including the 2011 calendar. When I clicked on the link for that it said they have equal numbers of signed and unsigned calendars. FYI, shipping is ridiculous. Hopefully I will get a signed one

OK, so I live in Mexico and saw Adam in SF at the Warfield. I'm a volunteer 5 days a week, working and suddenly realized that while the U.S. had changed clocks this past weekend, Mexico waits until April SO I had to get on line immediately.....as there probably would be no tickets when I get home. SO I have Section Floor 2, Row 2, Seat 6. Any opinions on this vs. Terrace?? Mine COULD be way off to the side looking at the seating chart. Had GA for the Warfield and was close to the front and I was fine with standing, etc. BUT it's the VIEW that counts...I can buy another ticket or maybe trade also and if I gonna fly from Guadalajara,then it's gonna be good!!!!  MAREL!

I went for the $10 membership last time. It has paid off, I got my FS ticket(a good seat) and an ok SD ticket today. I am most annoyed with myself today though, the M&G window opened but I saw nothing in it, stared at it for awhile before I scrolled and saw a button to purchase. By then it was too late |
