So do you think that Adam let that Vienna info slip on purpose so that I some fans had time to think of a reason I they must go to Vienna? ** Amazing predictions!! There are 5 more hours to post -- and then I will take a few days to review and consult with my advisers to pick the winner!! I would have to say that it's VERY possible it was an on purpose slip. I never look at his facebook or even think about it much, but I've never heard about an "accidental" posting like this from him. If so, wonder why he couldn't just post on twitter - the wording seemed like it would work there too. Maybe it was an experiment - communicating with facebook vs. twitter. But it does remind me of when he "hinted" we should watch the VMAs. This guy is gonna keep us jumping for a long time.  ETA: A quick edit to say thanks for all the fantastic videos we've seen through this tour, and especially Helsinki. It will be hard to pick "bests" for sure. And I love all the crazy "predictions." We have some great minds/imaginations/writers here. This has been a really fun weekend! I love this place!  |

Adam's Kiev soundcheck is magnificent!! I'm enjoying the latest recaps, thank you all! And now I've got that song "Vienna" running through my head: "'cause in Vienna we were poetry, yes in Vienna love was alive, watching you watching me, all that our eyes could see, all of the nights we chased into the dawn, it was the best time of my life." Looks like an awesome charity event. You are so right! His voice just amazes me! He just keeps getting better and better.... And I love "Vienna" and Linda Eder! I heard her sing this live....gave me goosebumps. I love that song, too! I also heard her sing it live once, and I know what you mean about goosebumps. I have it on repeat right now, but I stop every once in a while to listen to Adam work through the soundcheck process (so fascinating) and sing "Chokehold" a cappella. The best kind of sensory overload. |

Thanks. It is just magnificent! I could go to sound checks all day long That soundcheck is yet another (as if we needed it) example of Adam's 3D quality when he sings. I do believe that it deserves some care and analysis from the Masterclass folks... AND that's his voice really tired #saywhat! |

Seriously...Adam being the international star to perform for VIP??? Not sure I buy that ...the band could easily have gone with him to make instrumentation etc easy. Hey ...I can eat my words later....but if he is attending...maybe just to attend. Wait. Didn't Adam say that he went to Vienna to talk to people about this gig in May? If they are at the preliminary planning stages, he would not bring the band with him. And they wouldn't be actually rehearsing the production at this point, anyway. If he was just attending the event and not participating, again, he would not need to go to Vienna now for talks. I think he will definitely be doing something at the event. I mentioned several times recently how Adam's tone is so ringing and clear and resonant. You can certainly hear that in the sound check. It seems that he is thinking his full-voiced high notes have too much ping, or high frequency resonance, and it needs to be dialed back a bit in the sound system. Just the opposite of what sound guys normally do for pop singers, when they try every trick to add power and resonance to a dull voice. Adam is remarkable. |
