This is my recap on the Helsinki concert. Surge of emotion has been so overwhelming and intense , that I had to think about things for a while to get my thoughts in some order, and descend to ground level again. I arrived at Pasila station by train, which was about a 10-minute walk from the Hartwall Areena. In front of me walked a woman whose stunning shoes I stared at all the way. The rear section of shoes was filled with spikes and rivets. Later revealed that the woman was the daughter of leenaseyez! Certainly, someone brings up the image, because everyone wanted to photograph the shoes! In front of Arena was already a huge crowd of people, But I got inside quickly VIP side door. I got a VIP pass around my neck. Soon I saw familiar faces, who I met in London dinner before the concert Queen & Adam: leenaseyez, heather, gelly and her daughter.I went straight away to eat dinner. First, I had to sit alone, but later joined with Leena and Heather. During the dinner was soudcheck going, and we heard Hot Stuff!!!! Later we went to the bar to wait for the start of the concert. I noticed a number of Finnish celebrities. Shortly before the concert I went to my place to sit. I sat in the first row of the VIP grandstand.. But in front of me, a little below, was a SPECIAL-VIP area. There sat a.i. Sauli's sisters and friends. Sauli was not sitting there, but he went to greet them. Arena seemed quite full. I do not understand how people who were sitting far in the back at the top high, saw nothing .... But surely they heard! When the concert began, and laser lights began to rotate, HUGE SHOUT AVALANCHED around the Arena. It was really impressive, and I was all goose bumps!!! And when Adam took to the stage, all to stand up! Adam talked about a few times in Finnish, "mitä kuuluu" (how are you), "minä rakastan sinua" (I love you), "moi, moi", (bye, bye)! He jokes the rotating chair, which was really entertaining. And of course he sang so that no one else can sing! In particular, fell in love with the songs Hot Stuff and Fever! Too soon the concert was over! :(
When the concert ended, we departed after-party. We drove a taxi (PostfestumPF, Betty and her husband, SophieB and I) The Tiger. We had a very nice looking lodge. I met there also Albiku and her boyfriend, bobo, lilly and tilly-filly. Niko (Sauli's friend) was a disc jockey. He told, that had just received a text message Sauli, that he and Adam are coming to The Tiger. But they never come ... I had a great time, I have not partied for years as I partied now. I dancing with Betty and her husband, with myself in exhaustion (Betty and her husband were dancing very well!!!). And I talked (note: english) about so much that I never. All of this was almost more than I can handle! I am so glad that I got to know Atoppers! In particular, betty, you were so warm and lovely person! I was at home until 7 am. (zzz) Memories, memories.... (I apologize for my English mistakes, writing this took hours and hours, and I had to repeatedly look for another way of telling things, if I could not tell you as I would have liked.)

Butterfly, thanks for the recap! Don't worry about the language, we're not the language police we listen to the heart behind the words. As someone who's first language is also not English, I appreciate the effort so much Butterfly, what was Sauli's sisters' reaction to the concert?

THANK YOU! You added so many details to my impression of the event - the "special VIP" area and the energy surge once the concert started. I remember the deafening noise from the AI arena tour - so I can imagine how it was for you! and so great to know you all had a great time before and after the concert. I also want to thank everyone who posted their recaps, experiences, photos, tweets and videos! Virg - awesome slide show! Brings the whole tour together!

As an Atoper/Adam fan, any crumb or morsel of information helps me to paint the picture of the concert. THANK YOU BUTTERFLY...for sharing your story.
haha so funny .....7am... you did party!!! Where was the VIP grandstand located?...on the floor-to the side? or in the stand? How far away were you. It was interesting that the one of the journalists commented on Adam making Hot Stuff a great song/ by doing it his way---and it one one of your favorites too. I think many agree, from the past thread, that without screens the expression and body movement that contributes to a live experience was lost... so the VIP was definitely the way to go! Glad you had a blast. I met Heather/Gelly/lilly in London...sorry I am not sure that we met. Hopefully, ---another time.

They stood and danced the whole time, packed as close (a stage) as possible to the edge of their box. Unfortunately, my attention was attached to Adam, so I didn't really follow them very much.

LOL, all the hoopla still continuing! It is nice to read how the concert-goers either arrived home, are in the middle of their trip changing transport etc or still at Helsinki about to leave and reminiscing some details of the concert. I think Gelly is in the air already and Albiku is at Helsinki airport (like several other fans). The big Adam question at the moment: is he or isn't he on his way to the airport? I would think he is going there as he had the security guy with him but that's just a guess - surely he will be spotted there and we'll know soon enough if that's the case. Will possible sightings confirm his destination too?

Glad you all like the slideshow. Thought it turned out pretty good Nice tour keepsake AMAZING...A labour of LOVE! Having each concert represented like you did was a brilliant plan. The posters, the band, the pics and the highlights allowed me to reminisce, laugh and appreciate the hard work it takes to tour. I feel for the set-up crew... a lot of physical work, less relaxing time, but making a living which is the goal as well. The staging and lighting was simple but effective for small venue performances. Adam did a good job with planning this with his friends. Keeping costs in line with a mini tour and financially supporting friends who have supported him as a friend....shows friendship. What goes around comes around eh!
Big SCORE with that youtube. Adam needs to be tweeted this as a keepsake.
PS. Could someone provide the link of the the interview where Adam lists who helped in the planning. I know the boys and one other did the choreo and Louis helped...just cannot remember if it was the show concept or the choreo. I thought I would remember ...sheesh it was only day(s) ago. Thank you in advance! I want my brain to remember these facts. At this stage of life ...it needs a little help. :D

Oh! Albiku! We look forward to more explanation, where (of course, in Helsinki, but in more detail), and how the picture was taken, what you talked about, and so on! You lucky girl! Is this the airport?
