Add me to the list of those confused about what Adam did wrong. The way he phrased it, it sounded like a mutual decision between two busy people who had been drifting apart over the past couple of months. If he had called Sauli names or blasted him in a song a la Taylor Swift, I'd have misgivings, but he's been nothing but respectful and sweet when talking about him. I'm sad that it's over but I honestly don't see anything negative in the way Adam handled the announcement. And, I just want to add that the press follows Adam around -- perhaps that is why we see pics of him in night clubs and such. Everyone knows that we devour those pics. It made sense to me also that the break-up got revealed in an interview for gay pride. That's his next event and they probs asked about his relationship. If I recall (and I may be incorrect) Sauli has not done an interview in English -- I just don't see how it could have been handled jointly. I think the FAULT magazine interview was in english? Please correct me if I'm wrong. But I need to make clear that I don't think Adam has done anything wrong, just needed to point out that interview :D And now off to sleep! I'll be back tomorrow!

Once more I come to yesterdays topic: I want warmly thank you all numerous people who sent me a PM regarding my post in yesterdays thread. Feedback was warm, some agreed, some understood, and some did not see my point, but all were nice. And one more view and last from me: Thank you Q3 for keeping Sauli Central for those who might still enjoy and willing to update it. Might help some upset people. Thank you all those, who have spoken out their support for both boys even if separeted. However, this is Adam fandom, and Sauli is forgotten in weeks, if not days. People are celebrating Adam's new boys. As it probably should be. But future will be very hard for Sauli, no soft words can undo that fact. In every aspect: status in society, money, career, people to support him, maybe also emotionally. Bye now! Sauli will be fine! He is an amazing person! Why do you have such little faith in him? I don't get it it at all! Yes, this! I don't get it at all either.

Having just returned from being in the SF area visiting my son and his wife, and traveling yesterday all day and too cheap to spend the $8 on wifi, I missed the break-up about which I'm sorry, but hopeful for both.
I'm just sick that I missed the 100 special tickets for the burgh, as I didn't know they were even available. Sigh. Q3 maybe you'll wave to me???LOL.
What I've learned about the Pittsburgh pride: 1. parking at a Goodyear parking lot is a good idea. 2. The way the stage is set up if you stand to the left looking at the stage you can stand on the curb and see better. 3. Every possible home game(pirates, power-arena football) are all having home games that weekend, so parking will be on the other side of impossible. I will call and see if there are any suggestions or other modes of transportation to get to venue. 4. The usual festival type vendor food will be available throughout the grounds.
Also, aforementioned son upgraded my operating system on my iPad, so now I can see and use the floating page numbers that were previously just a fond dream. I'm going to try and post again, too, to see if I'm up to speed.

With regards to comments about how this split has been handled....
It seems likely that it was agreed some time ago and had it been announced then, it could have been very detrimental to Sauli's career with his new TV programme not then finalised. This interim period has given Sauli time to consolidate some career choices that might (I really don't know) have been damaged by a split with Adam then. Sauli appears to be better placed in his career now than six months ago - and I wish him nothing but the very best. Far from being disrespectfully out-and-about, I think Adam has been preparing the ground - ready to show that the show really does go on and not wanting his fans to be distressed. If we know anything about Adam, it is that he never looks for sympathy; never plays the victim. He always keeps his chin up publicly and tries to mitigate any distress those who care about him might feel, when something goes wrong for him.
All I have seen about this break-up (and it really isn't much) seems to fit in with all the good and loyal things about these two young men. I'm sure they will remain friends.
Anyway - done with tears... ready to talk about what a great jacket Adam has on in the pretend glasses pics.....

I think I may have been a bit critical about the wording in SFGN regarding the breakup, but in reality there is not an easy way to break news like this to friends and family much less adoring fantastical fans. My initial reaction is he seemed so nonchalant about what I think some of us may have perceived as Adam's true love/ life long/ the right one/ type of relationship. Pair this with rumors, speculation, and pictures that have been circulating the last couple of months it makes it easier to want to judge or express an opinion that might not paint our man in the best light. I know I don't know anything about what really happened. I know it is not my business. But Adam did include us in this journey, professing his love for Sauli very publicly in words and actions- pretty much right from the start and keeping us updated. And we saw a change in Adam-his appearance, his attitude, etc and we may have attributed some of that to Sauli's presence in his life .
And then some of us fell in love with Sauli too.
Add to the mix our own individual experiences and projections.
I guess what I am trying to say is I can see where everyone is coming from. I don't want to chastise anyone for processing this in their own way. I hope we can feel comfortable enough to express what we need to until the mods decide enough is enough. and move on.
