I have been debating with myself if i want to step out of the lurking mode and put my 2 cents out since yesterday, but my decision is "F*ck it", I am gonna say it and then back to my lurking status. I suppose we all feel sad about the break-up, but no one will feel sadder or more upset about the split up than Adam and Sauli themselves. No matter how they handled it, no matter how calm & happy they looked on the outside, it must be a hard time for both of them. But because they are in the public eyes, they had to put a mask on. For some people, seeing Adam looked happy and in the bars meant he wasn't serious about this relationship and the break-up meant nothing to him. But putting yourself in Adam's shoes, do you want to show the whole world how messed up you are right now? do you really want to share the tears and frustration with all the strangers (including us fans and especially us fans) out there? Will it help anything? People handle things differently. Talking about break-ups, some would rather stay at home sulking for months, some would go out partying, drinking for months. You can do the way you like when you are in that circumstance, but how unfair it is to judge another person when s/he handles the situation different than you? Also, why you guys think it's Adam ended the relationship? From what I can gather, Sauli was most likely the one who ended the whole thing. Adam rent the condo with sauna and easy living environment for Sauli (IMO). Adam singing STAY during most of the tour. Adam liked Sauli's new posted pictures while touring. Need I mention more? I wasn't saying Adam is innocent here because whatever caused this breakup, he's part of it. I just couldn't see him ending this relationship. All I saw is how he's trying to save it. We don't know how the future holds for both men, but i think the least we can do right now for our idols (be it Adam, Sauli, or both) is to support them and show them some love. When they are down, we should be it. OK. I'm done. See you next time. Thank you! I agree so much! I'm sure they are both hurting some, but don't want to show it. |

Haven't checked the thread so not sure if @alidol has already posted the youtube version of this. This is the Chinese version of the reality diving show, Splash, and they used the song, Trespassing, as the opening theme song for the debut episode. At the end of the vid, the guy did the 10 meter diving, his name is Tian Liang, two-time Olympic gold medalist turned actor, also the head coach for the celebrity divers on the show. Just today, I got by chance my hands on the newest Cosmopolitan Magazine. Guess who I found on page 54? Our boy, in a silly hairstyle comparison with Halle Berry, but nevertheless, here he was. I am very hopeful for him at this point. from your post to the Universe's ears.... 8-) I do certainly see a change in the LGBT related press and events but I see nothing in the mainstream... and the truth be told - I really don't like the lopsidedness of the current situation (as I perceive it)... Cosmo is mainstream. Definitely not an LGBT magazine. There were also a few other examples recently, but I cannot remember them for the life of me. Lost track of them before I could bring them here. But they also made me sit up because they were not anymore the usual subjects (i.e. online media or LGBT related). One that I do remember and that was reported here was that Colbert used Adam as example, without explaining who he was. I just thought at the time that the comment itself was unfortunate. One of the strengths of Adam is that he has fans in all kinds of populations segments and not only in the LGBT community, so the statement was just not true. So, I gave that one a kind of 'neutral' evaluation in my book. Good that Adam gets a mention with Colbert, bad that they peg him as a 'mostly gay audience' artist. ETA: Did not understand your comment about lobsidedness. What are you referring to? |

I love all the TV exposure, both in person appearances & his music used on shows, that Adam is getting in China and else where in Asia. With the PLL & Diva appearances in the US and the upcoming Trevor PSA, Adam is beginning to get non-Idol related TV exposure in the US. I hope that they are using some of Adam's music in the PSA. I also hope that Adam's increasing popularity in China will instigate a world wide increase in popularity for Adam's music. |

Update on Vienna Life Ball: The performers for the concert on the evening prior to the live ball have been announced. No mention of Adam. Glad to see that, that means he is at the main event on the 25th of May. So, that is good. Only other interesting thing from the article is that Bill Clinton will again be present (and collect an award for that HIV charity org of his). So Adam and Bill Clinton will meet multiple times or at least have an opportunity to do so over the next two months. I came home late tonight and I've been reading your posts. Some of them are great and I agree completely with them. But there are also some posts, which I would like to comment, but I won't do that. I just want you to remember that we know almost nothing. It concerns me as well, but I still want you to know that there might be some facts which only some of us Finnberts know about. And would you share those facts with us in Atop? |

By the way guys, S*&@^#r Liff is born 1985, same year as every of Adams Boyfriends.
