China Music Awards is not an industry awards show like the Grammy but more like AMA as Q3 pointed out, however the exposure and viewership is unparrelled.
The winner in Adam's category has not been announced publicly in any media in China, yet, even though it's pretty obvious to everyone.

I come from Helsinki and was attendin his recent concert.. it was just too good.. I have never been a keen fan to anyone else.. but Adam has someting magical.. so overwhelming, so real, so true , so *this is it* that my underpants were shaking..  ) those old ones:))) |

Clearly you were not the first or only person to do that!! It's worse. I could very well be the last person who did that and therefore the crazy fan he had in mind when he said that. Awwwwww...... {{HUGS YOU}}[/I] I don't think he means someone like you bb! I think a LOT of people, particularly in places in LA, have a tendency to go to celebrities and take their picture with them so they can brag to people "LOOK WHO I] GOT MY PICTURE WITH" (there are numerous tumblers of people who do exactly that). You are a real fan who was just nervous. You wanted your picture because it was Adam, for who you had traveled so far to see his show, and it was just such enormous, serendipious luck that you were at the airport at the same time. You were obviously *not* a celeb hound, but a person who truly cared. I'm sure Adam can tell the difference. ETA: And if you ever get a meet-and-greet you can tell him so in person. [smiles] But I really think its ok. |

I don't think it's possible for you to have been the last fan to say that to Adam. He's had his photo taken with a lot of fans since Helsinki. Who knows, maybe one of them told him they were going to use the pic for Facebook wallpaper. If you ever see him again, just tell him where you're from. I bet he'd like to know. I meant the last person to approach him like that, with the "can I take a pic with you" as the only introduction. I know he's taken pics with fans since Helsinki, of course he has, haha. Oh, sweetie. Don't worry at all. He doesn't mind fans asking for a picture. If he did, he would have stopped it a long time ago. Often, he suggests it when he meets a fan. I read his comment to mean that he likes a little personal interaction. You are not bothering him if you talk to him. He is encouraging fans to relate to him personally when they meet. That does not mean he was bothered by you. Cherish the memory and the picture, and don't beat yourself up about it at all. You did fine! |

This is such a good article. They took the time to ask some really good questions. I also was struck by the marriage question response. He has never said he wants to get married before that I can remember.
