Candace, on American Idol tonight ,became my very favorite female vocalist in years. IMHO she is stupendous.Idol has become a bore, but tonight they found another STAR and that's what has made the show more successful than other Realty shows. I AGREE!!! She brought me to tears. That hasn't happened to me since Season 8. Talk about singing with passion. The Love Song brought me to tears with goosebumps. She is an old soul. Amazing singer. Even better than Adelle if that is possible. |

Does anyone know if you want to burn a CD from a mp3 playlist and you put a mp4 of a song in the list because you couldn't find the song in a mp3...will it record like a mp3 when you burn a CD? mp4 is a video+audio format, so did you mean m4a which is the audio only from the mp4? In iTunes it is not a problem at all. Actually, the mp3, m4a, etc audio files get converted to another format, called "CDA", on the CD. iTunes does the conversion automatically. You would get a better quality CD if you used m4a files instead of mp3 files!!! (This is assuming that the m4a files are originals or converted from FLAC or WAV and not converted from mp3 files.)
Even if you are making an actual "MP3" disc, playable only in the few players that play MP3 CDs, you can start with any format of audio files and iTunes will do the conversion. ETA - I've not tried it with other programs besides iTunes, but they mostly all work as described above. |

For me, she is almost the female version of Adam  I do not get the Adam comparison aside from the fact that Candace can hit the note and probably will not win even though she is the best singer on this season. ETA: And I hope I am wrong and she wins. But because of your comment, I watch the video, saw the Lazarro comments, and unfortunately listened to Lazarro.  I am so glad Adam is not a judge this season, but his honestly would be refreshing on that judging panel. |

My Twitter feed is starting to explode over CANDICE GLOVER! OMG everyone on the West Coast, PLEASE watch Idol tonight because she will absolutely blow your fucking mind. She was just incredible! And this makes me very happy because that's the whole point of the show - to discover someone who can SING with passion & realness. After Adam, I was beginning to think it would never happen again, but damn, Candice sure showed up tonight. I'm waiting for Adam to tweet about it cause he's gonna be blown away. clap clap  |

Since it is a slow night, I thought it would be nice to look back a year to Adam's MyFm performances. They are even better than I remember. The voice and emotion come through so beautifully with only Tommy on guitar and Issac on beat box. And the closeups are - well, they are gorgeous...
