There was an interview by USA Today (I think) during AFL's idol stint where the top 3 were taken shopping for their performance clothes. They had an allowance and the stylist said Adam always went over his, paying out of his own pocket. Adam was quoted as saying (paraphrasing): "I'll do what it takes". Flying first class means he can sleep well during a long flight. He'll be in better shape when he gets to China and has to promo and perform in what hopefully will be a dividend-paying market for him in the future. I see it as a wise investment. Besides, is part of it not covered by the hosts? Having said all that, I also take pleasure in hearing that BB is as comfy as possible. I would make an educated guess that the hosts are paying all the traveling expenses, especially in this case...like I am 100% sure in my mind that's the case I am also certain that Adam's airfare is part of his contract for this event/TV appearance. Regarding Idol, Miles Siggins did an interview in 2009 and he said that Adam set a new record on Idol for wardrobe spending -- break the previous record set by Taylor Hicks. My guess is that he still hold that record. |

Stardust and I must be sharing a computer glitch then :D But I saw it with cayman's and momtomany's posts too. In fact, I see it now ... this late night posting has sent me to an alternate reality ![]() Ok, now it's gone. I just knew it...I have been gremlinized.
