Another Adam mention: Candice managed to outdo that gem with “You’ve Changed,” which purred, revved, and shot sparks like an exploding 18-wheeler. I’m with Nicki on this one: There’s nothing to say! She is the best single vocalist the show has had since Adam Lambert, except her song choices are weirdly more wicked and — get this! — more sexual. Fire, Candice. www.thebacklot.com/american-idol-recap-scary-connick-jr/05/2013/Ok - you might just make me go to the pink place and check this performance out. Don't believe the "more sexy" bit, tho' !!!

If it is true that Adam did not do Gay Prides before because RCA and his management didn't want him pigeonholed as a "gay artist", I wonder what has made them go after the gay market more aggressively now? Could it be an acknowledgement that public acceptance of the LGBT community is increasing, or perhaps Adam has pressed to be more active in promoting equality? I hope it pays off for him in support for his music and his concerts. My impression of the community is that it is a very hard nut for gay artists to crack. When people mention a gay icon it is usually a straight woman like Gaga or Madonna. The article posted about who performs at big Pride events, attests to this. Wanted to add, I don't think Adam will ever be classified as a "gay artist" because straight women love him too much to give him up. Really he is so extremely talented, charismatic and nice that he will break down barriers that will eventually lead the the extinction of the term "gay artist" and all will just be considered "artists". Probably the difference between having 19M as management and DMG! DMG is smarter!

You're right it is probably new management that is making the difference, though I imagine Adam's heart is in helping the equality cause. His management seems like it is working hard to expand his fan base abroad especially in Asia and here my targeting the LGBT community. I think they also lined PLL and Divas which were both great gigs for getting exposure to mainstream audiences. I am so glad he has a competent team.

You should be able to see her latest here: www.youtube.com/results?filters=week&search_query=candice+glover&lclk=week

Hey darlings, the Idol studio performances collection was never released on CD right? Just iTunes? If so does anyone know where I can find copies of the files straight from iTunes? Cause all I have are like crappy low quality mp3s that have circulated through YouTube and whatnot and sound like poo. I think the files from iTunes okay to distribute cause they're not avail commercially but idk.

** VH1 @vh1 How To Lose #AmericanIdol: 5 Easy Steps on.vh1.com/101eCBl May 2nd, 2013 | 2:30 pm How To Lose American Idol In Five Easy Steps: A Scientific Analysis! by Meghan O'Keefe (@megsokay)
5) Choose A Song You Can’t Sing
This should be obvious, but for some reason, some contestants on American Idol overreach. I mean, why wouldn’t they overreach? It’s a show where small town Americans can become superstars literally overnight. The whole show is about overreaching. Anyway, some contestants either choose a song that is too big vocally for their pleasantly warbling voice, or they put themselves out there selling a song they have no emotional connection to. At this point in the competition, everyone has a magnificent voice, but if you can’t make the audience believe that you are emotionally connected to the message of your song, it’s not going to be a success. Compare how season six’s Leslie Hunt (above) botched “Feeling Good” due to vocal strain and a lack of confidence with how famous Idol runner up Adam Lambert (below) owned the song not just vocally, but with his sensational swagger.

I just wish she would quit singing the same song over & over & over & over & over...

I really like Michelle Chamuel on The Voice.
She looks & acts like a super nerd, but she's actually a pretty girl.
I keep imagining her ripping off the glasses.
Anyway, she's very high energy and I think a good fit for a Pink song.
She won the knockout round. Her part starts at about 1:10. Knockouts: Audrey Karrasch vs. Michelle Chamuel - The Voice Highlight NBCTheVoice
