The band,Green Day wrote a musical and starred in it a couple of years ago. It's sometimes an infinity thing from Broadway to TV,Radio,Hollywood movies.. One doesn't preclude the other.. I never suggested that Adam give up his pop/record making career to do a short maybe 6 week guest performance on Broadway. Broadway is part of the music world,a huge part.. Motown the musical is about Barry Gordy and many of the Motown radio hits are in the show.. Ricky Martin recently did Evita on Broadway. Disney is on Broadway,Newsies was a movie ,now a musical on broadway. Just saying..LOL Please see the article POP Stars -turn-to Broadway melliemom, I think you misunderstand my posting. I know you're not suggesting that Adam to give up his pop/record career. What I'm saying is Adam CAN NOT take time off from music industry to do Broadway YET... NOT YET. IMO, He needs to really.. really establish his name in the music recording career first.. he really needs huge success 2-3 albums, bigger than FYE success.. Trespassing's not as success as FYE. Maybe if he can reach the success of Kelly C & Carrie U in the US album after album, he can take time offs to do 6 weeks Broadway, because this 6 weeks live performance will probably need another 3-4 weeks to practice, etc. So people (that are not fans) will not forget that Adam's still around when he gets back to do his music. Even for someone as big as Christina A, she's gone for few years after she had her son, when she made her comeback.. her album sales were not doing good, she had to cancel her tours and she had to do the VOICE to remind people of her again and people saw her again. Now she's back to do her music again. Those pop stars that turn to Broadway, they have made their huge success in their music careers; Cindy Lauper, Billy Joel, Sting, Bono, Sheryl Crow, etc, they had their hit songs ... a lot of them. Adam is not there yet.. not even at the level Kelly C & Carrie U in the US yet, and definitely not in the level of the Green Day, which has been in music industry since 1987, has sold 75 millions album worldwide. OR just like Q3 said, maybe when he turns 40 he can do Broadway again OK I'm turning in my what Adam should do badge..

My sister-in-law lives in California and knows how much I love Adam and mentioned to me today that she saw a pic of him and he looked 'stunning'. She said he didn't have makeup on and looked so much better without it. She appreciates his talent but is not a fan like me. I told her that Adam changes things up a lot and I was sure that he would be wearing some makeup again and I loved him anyway he wanted to look. She said that artists are always changing and creating art like that. I think if I can get her to a concert she'd be a full fledged Glambert!

I have to say that I like it in photos and video -- but I did not like it live. It does look really different live. ** One of the few celebrities not named Adam Lambert who I think is sexy is Matt Bomer.

Re Pgh, I think that there was both backing track and also Brian singing. I agree that backing singers not needed at this event, and it would have been very crowded on stage. I wasn't there but am pretty sure there were no backing tracks for the cover songs. Just getting back on the thread and wanted to thank you both for answering. I was thinking it is fun when Adam does covers because it really is all live band, right? I thought they sounded so good. Brian added just enough support it seemed (and he looked damn fine). I wonder who will be present at the San Diego gig.

So excited to be seeing Adam in San Diego on July 2nd---only 2 weeks from tonight!!!! I'll be meeting him backstage and can't think of what I'll say to him. A million thoughts run through my mind but nothing seems "just right" and I know he's heard it all before. If I can find my voice,I hope to be able to say,"Hi, Adam, I'm Lorraine" because he likes it when we introduce ourselves. -

I am so excited that Adam will be 45 minutes from my house on the Central Coast. I have some family issues to work out and some logistic problems, but I am going to be there. It will be my first time seeing him live!
