I am on my tablet,so I am hoping for the best. This news article reminded me of something I learned recently, Betteridge's Law Headlines which states, any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word NO. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betteridge's_law_of_headlines WONDERFUL!!! It made me feel better because an album of covers sucks. |

An album of 30 year old covers is so f'ing stupid it will not happen. If it does happen, it will be because Adam picks great tracks and remakes them. But I can't see him doing it.

However, if he want to put our a nu metal album with 80's influences and work with Slash and Brian May and Vernon Reid other great guitarists. I could embrace that!!

We do not know why Shosh is coming to LA -- just that she will be in West Hollywood.

Adam is glorious in covers. No question he would improve them all from the originals and we would all love and suppport them. Heck, his Shout is one of my favorite songs of late.
But we have all heard Adam say that his favorite part is the CREATING. We have heard him say that he wants to be a POP STAR. We have heard him say that he wants LONGEVITY in THAT industry. He will have NONE of those things if he is made to releases a cover album. He sang covers at Upright (when he was bored with his career and wanted more creative control). He sang covers on Idol (and has fought ever since to prove he is worth more than that). He wanted more then and I know he wants more now. This would be a monumental step back IMO.
Assuming this article is utter bs is the only thing getting me through this. I can't even watch Titanium now without being disgusted.
And don't even get me started on the colossal waste of his talent this would be...

We don't know why she is coming, seoulmate. But I firmly believe it is for Adam and something big! And she will be here by the end of this week.

What sucks is that it is now July and the label, apparently, has no idea what to do with him. And the fact that they would even consider going the "Subo" route??? I mean, RCA recognizes that he is talented, and I don't think they want to drop him (for a bunch of different reasons), but they also don't know how to make him "work" commercially.
No tweet from Adam---and I have a feeling we will not be getting one :(
ETA, maybe we will be getting some good news from Shosh, but I really don't want to get my hopes up.
