Q3! "Just the facts, Maam." It is sooo easy to get swayed by an article or interview. Many of us are definitely in the "Adam Bubble." Have never stanned before (of course I didn't even know the meaning of the word.) We don't follow anyone else, and have no background in this crazy entertainment industry. So to have someone like yourself, with great experience, an absolutely amazing amount of resources, and a whole lot of common sense - is a true gift. And... the fact that you are as crazy about Adam as the rest of us and can still be objective is pretty cool. My life would not be the same without Adam and Adamtopia. ( FACT!) Thanks so much! I have a hard time keeping perspective. I lost it during Idol and periodically have to slap myself because I love Adam. ** But it is so easy not to see what a great position Adam is in right now because there are all these things floating around -- like Idol judging rumors perpetuated for clicks obscuring the importing stuff that is happening. ** ETA: Poor King, they are on the track and no one noticed! I can only hear Adam. One of my secret dreams is for Adam to duet with Prince's guitar. Maybe King can connect them.

Before I pass out... Since there was a little bit of complaining about the way Adam's voice was produced in the past, I'd love to hear opinions on Avicii's production of his voice. I think he did a great job, especially in the not tampering with it department and the capturing one of its many x factors department, (which would be its sweetness and raw, kind of hoarse, nasalish sexiness this time, imho)and bringing it to the front. Maybe that would be a good recipe, pick one thing and accentuate it, capture it in a way. G'night:))) This is what I love about the track. Future producers would do well to follow suit in handling Adam's voice on tracks. Avicci found, understood, and kept the Essence of Adam and he didn't tamper with it.

Crazyforadam, I think the way Nile has explained it makes perfect sense. I don't understand why some people take everything as a "diss" of Adam. particularly when Nile has shown such respect for Adam - and Avicii seems to respect him too. I can't recall anyone ever saying Adam was doing LMD as a demo. I can't recall anyone ever saying Adam was sent or emailed a file of the song to work off of. Nile and Avicci had been working on the song. Nile called in Adam to complete the lyrics and to do the vocals at Nile's recording studio. Adam was not brought in as a session singer to do a demo, but as a singer fully participating in the creation of a song. I recall Nile tweeting about the night it was recorded. The girl group was there to do back-up for the lead vocal on the song, not some separate multi-tasking project. The fact that Nile and Avicii have used Adam as a writing partner and vocalist on three subsequent songs shows only respect for his abilities. Finally, I do not think the music or the lyrics of the song are "simple" in anyway. When Tim mentioned that they needed someone to sing the song so that they could remember the lyrics before they forgot or something along those lines, I also thought, it sounded like they were using Adam more like a session singer.. How Tim talked about why they brought in Adam rubbed me the wrong way too.. so I can see how CrazyforAdam might have gotten that impression. I agree that the lyrics of the song are not "simple" to me either, but have a much deeper meaning.. I also thought the lyrics sounded very much like Adam to me. CrazyforAdam: It bugs me too when there seems to be contradictions in what different people say about what happened, so you're not alone there. Ahh well.. life is quite paradoxical.

I agree that the lyrics of the song are not "simple" to me either, but have a much deeper meaning.. It could be that Nile called Adam in knowing what he could contribute, but Avicci did not really understand. Avicci may have thought of Adam as a voice he could use, manipulate as he saw fit etc as he does with all the sonic elements of his music. And then when Adam got there, killed the vocals and contributed to the artistic side of the song that Avicci caught on. And he caught on and bottled it posthaste.
