You know, I still think it is weird to spend that much money on a teen's party. I don't think teens can appreciate what that kind of money can mean and do because they haven't ever really earned much or worried much about money. I really feel a certain way about spending SO ostentatiously in general, but, obviously, her parents don't feel that way, so . . . difference of opinion. BUT these pics and the party-goers' comments tell me that they DID appreciate Adam and how special their opportunity to meet him and see him performwas. And it is beautiful to see these young people getting such a kick out of him.

Gelly @14gelly WOW AT THE CAKE instagram.com/p/m_27NPhzEx/ ....notice the backdrop and the light fixture screen with the girl's initials.... Have so enjoyed all the party photos, videos etc. This photo sure shows that no expense was spared! Fun seeing the layout and where their version of a red carpet was. Their black carpet complete with ropes had such detail in the backdrop for the photos with her initials as part of the design. Can't imagine all the work that went into planning this event! I am still sooo baffled/intrigued as to how his hair took on at least four different colors/hues/shades in the various photos taken throughout the day...Truly magic hair as was said earlier! I guess chalk it up to lighting.

The girl's comments about Adam went a long way toward mitigating any resentment I might have felt about the situation. She is clear about what a difference he has made in her life, and that's really beautiful.

I used to think that as well but wealthy people who spend money are much higher in my esteem than wealthy people who hoard it. When money is spent on a party like this, think of all the people who get paid and that benefits their families - the hall, the cake, the band!, the decorations, photographer - on and on. I don't like ostentatious for its own sake but the side benefits of money moving from where it is to where it is not is a plus.
