His voice was so familiar but like he sounds so fucking different. Weirdly higher.
--> Hmmm ... chipmunk effect? I got that in Edmonton (didn't wear the etymotics, was sitting very close to speakers at right of stage). This girl was on the floor, but maybe closer to stage/not in sweet spot in front of sound booth? Something to think about for future concert-goers -- also see stampsgal's Calgary concert recap for more thoughts on sound and location in the venue.
