A few very fragmented impressions of Saturday night in Vancouver:I REALLY REALLY HATE THESE ROW 40 FLOOR SEATS WITH A WHITE-HOT PASSION!!!! FUCKITY FUCKITY FUCK FUCK. AND THEN THE MOST EVIL OF ALL FUCKERIES STARTED TO HAPPEN.Somebody to the left of me had to get by me... bathroom break? I don't know. WTF WTF... YOU CAN'T GO TO THE BATHROOM 10 MINUTES INTO THE CONCERT!!!!And of course 10 minutes later this person comes back and INTERRUPTS me AGAIN.Let me stop here and say this: During the concert, I was interrupted by people trying to get past me no less than FOUR TIMES. And by that I mean: FOUR TIMES leaving, and FOUR TIMES coming back = which equals EIGHT FUCKING INTERRUPTIONS. How is this even possible?? T Kim and I had great seats in Edmonton,...thank god we at least saw the concert.... and I cannot begin to feel your pain.In our row, I was on the aisle as I had a pop with no lid, and was worried it would spill. Imagine them keeping the caps for pop, and the stands are rockin'. One guy... 7-8 trips out, kim said. He never returned with beverage or food! (Pee that many times???) Then one last time he leaves with this gal and on their return she is faltering/staggering/whatever, and of course it is right in front of me as she tries to weave back into the aisle. And by your math that is 16 interruptions from the same guy. Plus several others, in the row also left/returned two times, which probably upped our score to 24 ish. (Two lady Queen fans beside Kim never came back???) Kim's eyes were rolling and like you I was bending over each time to protect my pop/purse. I think I may have been arse up at Queen/Adam as much as face forward!!! (nah not really, but I have never had that happen ever even at a sporting event). We just had bad luck as did you! That was a "Fuckety" for sure....HA_HA I just kept my focus on listening to the music and voices...did not want to miss that!

Hey silverblue - thanks so much for the vids !!! So sorry we're not going to any of the same shows - would have loved to catch up with you. Been a long time since Hammersmith. Awww seoulmate..... I shouldn't have laughed so much at your recap, but it was so horribly, tragically funny. #hugsforyou I would have loved to catch up too! The whole Hammersmith week with our group was so fun I'm only doing the west coast for this tour....just can't swing any more shows. Heading to SJ tomorrow tho... so excited to continue my QAL journey:)

Each of these recaps causes chuckles, and memories, almost as entertaining as the show........almost...haha. It is fun hearing about Atopers and learning more about your/their personalities and humour! Lol! Thank you thank you for taking those minutes to capture your " day in the life". So many of us did our recaps late ....to the party .....but glad we took the time to write them as it brings our Atop personalities closer to showcasing the real people we really are.

I'm back home and ready to write my re-cap too! I've been trying to read a few re-caps first and I've got to say, Seoulmate, yours was the funniest and the "awfulest" at the same time. I'm glad you were able to get there, though. None of us had purses and we were inside within ten minutes to find that we were exactly at our section and the washrooms and merchandise were right there. I bought a shirt for myself and a bag for my daughter. We found our seats and sat down to watch the place fill up. Jablea popped up and introduced herself, so that was fun to make a connection with an Atopper from Idaho! His voice is amazing. When I bought a bottle of water, the server kept the cap for security reasons. So I was standing there holding my open bottle and I realized the water vibrated in it when Adam sang!!! That was an interesting phenomena that no one has mentioned. Happy....thanks as well for your personal touches to the Concert experience....and same comments apply to your interesting experiences as I mentioned in revlisacat's mention above. I appreciated in particular the comment about the water bottle. Of course I was more concerned re spillage....and here you are experiencing ethereal moments with your bottle . You lucky souls....lucky lucky.......Kim and I spent 3/4 hr in the merchandise line...and were were close to the front entry line....(panicking that we were not going to make the concert start time.) We relaxed when a venue attendant told us not to panic as it was starting at 8:15. Golly, would have been nice to know! How did you connect with Jablea...ribbons...or had met before....or coordinated a meet up??

How did you connect with Jablea...ribbons...or had met before....or coordinated a meet up?? Aha! I can answer that one. In our concert pre-thread I'd made a seating chart list and a map of the venue, so lol, I knew where most Atopers were sitting and I took that to the concert. I made a swing thru section 118 where most everyone was supposed to be but I think they were all still at the pre-dinner at one of the hotel restaurants and it just wasn't as easy as I had imagined in my head to find people. Happy was closer to my section and I was able to find her seat occupied on my way back. My pick-up line was "Is anybody Happy here?" I did have on a ribbon so she knew where I was from. We had tried to meet-up earlier in the day at the Vancouver Aquarium (wonderful) but I had missed her text (my darn phone plays mind games) as we had all arrived at different times. So I'm no longer a Glambert virgin, lol. Yes that's different than an Adam virgin. Family was ok with me off trying to meet people which I was really surprised at. If he ever comes back to my home town maybe I can host a get together, I was too shy during GNT although I think I was responsible for the dancers floating the river.

Yes, Jablea had an enormous green ribbon and I'm ashamed to admit I didn't get it together to do that. All the time I was walking around Vancouver, I kept looking at "women of a certain age" and wondering if I just might just know them online. I was also secretly hoping to bump into Adam -- knowing that had nil chance of happening -- but it was nice to know that we were in the same city!

It was KT (Kinesthetics) Tape that I bought to tape my knee. Supposedly if you put the tape on a certain way it makes your patella (knee cap) travel better which it did seem to do as I put a lot of walking on it last week when the month before I bought a fold-up wheelchair that I thought I was going to have to travel with. Anyway, I purchased the green color for a reason and I didn't even have to pin it on my clothes, it just stuck. So there you go, another practical hint.

Here is my last instalment my Tale of Three Cities, mini Concert Trek, I will be watching all the vids from the rest of you now. As much as I wish I could go to more shows, I feel blessed to have gone to three. Next time for me will be whenever Adam tours on his own with his own music!!
