"I Was Born to Love You" is very popular in Japan. Many "non-Queen fan" Japanese people recognize the melody. Both Freddie's original version and Queen's version have been used for TV commercials since 80s. About 10 years ago, Queen's version along with other Queen songs were used for a prime-time TV drama. The last time Queen was in Japan with Paul Rodgers, Brian and Roger did an acoustic version of "I Was Born to Love You". realkittychan.... long time no see!! You should post more often!!

Help me I cannot stop listening to IWBTLY. In this video you can see that in certain part Adam's actually closed his eyes while singing. Maybe he's trying not to miss all the words and Brian looked a bit tensed. LOL.. Maybe because that's the first time they actually did in on tour (per Brian's tweet in the earlier page in this thread). But at the end.. before Adam shout "We did it", you can see Spike's jumping up with his hands up in the air and down and then Brian's did the same thing without the jump.. LOL.. They're so excited they did it without major mishap!

My mother was an English teacher and always use to quote: Late, late yestereen I saw the new moon, With the old moon in her arms; I always liked that imagery, I didn't know it was from a Ode by Samuel Taylor Coleridge called Dejection.
We'll stick to the happy stuff. Always learning on Adamtopia Well, bless your mother and Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! This is my dream come true! Don't ruin it LOL So, once more, with feeling LOL: Wow! That single note, a ping of his guitar, at 0:15-0:16, Brian May let his guitar speak volumes.... You're so right about that one note!! This was never one of my favorite Queen songs, but I totally understand why it's so popular in Korea & Japan! Sweet and simple lyrics for non-English speakers, perfect repetitive chorus... sweet catchy tune! I actually used this song a couple of times in my Korean classes, and the students adored it!

. . . AND Adam's 'other band' getting it right with "Whole Lotta Love" at the first Fantasy Springs! All 7+ minutes of it! I remember Brian saying there would be moments of 'danger' on this tour. Well, it must have felt, musically, rather dangerous to attempt this song in front of 15,000 people, on a world stage, with nary a run-through! What incredible artists! What synergy and what confidence they must have in one another. I'm sure their nuanced communication skills must be in the secret language of genius. Where does the 15,000 people come from? I thought that they sold out Seoul at 40,000? They listed it as "sold out" yesterday and stopped selling tickets. There is no information on what the number of sold tickets was. Looks like more than 15,000 to me but not 40,000. I have not see a great photo of the audience yet. Also, since there are multiple acts, not everyone who buys a ticket goes to the whole concert. ETA: I am just guessing. Based on the stage placement and assuming the crowd filled the field in front of the stage -- looks more like 20,000 - 25,000 to me. If there were 40,000 people there, someone would have been in the seats at the back and sides. Jamsil Auxiliary Stadium can be set for 70,000 is the stage is at the far end and they use the seats. Maybe they will release numbers but I can't find them for last year.
