Yeah, I wasn't too surprised about the outcome either, but I don't like Chris because of that awful haircut! UGH!!! If he was in the military, I could forgive him but that's not his excuse. I haven't figured out why they think women love him???? If Luke had a better song last night and if he hadn't totally messed up tonight's song, he might have made it. I'm pissed that all 3 of Adam's made it. While I don't like Country music, I do like Blake and Craig and I bought Craig's song. Wonder how fast they will start knocking them off now?? If next week is the semi-final will probably lose 2 and leave 3 for the final.

Yes, I can never get over how quickly they knock them out of the show in the last few weeks. I guess the Voice is all about the auditions and the judges/mentors, rather than the contestants.
Totally agree about Chris. Even with a better haircut, I still wouldn't find him particularly attractive -- his eyes do not draw me in!
I have a soft spot for Damien. I hope he can make it in the R&B world when the show is over.

LOL -- Chris went on a home visit -- I saw his nose on a few relatives!
I see that Damien was saved today -- top 4 with Chris, Matt and Craig. Who do you think is going to win? I wouldn't be surprised if Craig did. His "Old Rugged Cross" was a clever pick!

I like Craig although I'm not much of a Country fan (I consider him a Country Rocker). I like Blake, too. So that's who I'm rooting for.

Yeah! Just watched it and I was a little worried because Matt was doing so well on iTunes! I think Craig deserved to win, but I only liked his last song last night. The other finalists just didn't have much star quality (to me).

The other finalists just didn't have much star quality (to me). Yup, I didn't think much of Craig's original song -- sounded like Blake had carried that one around in his back pocket for a bit too long! I also was preoccupied with trying to figure out if that was the Confederate flag on Lynyrd Skynyrd's microphone. I have now done some googling and I see it was. Hmmm. I also puzzled over Bruno Mars' hair curlers. I have also googled that and I am told it is a nod to the video. Smart marketing move -- it was a great performance, but the curlers get people talking! Hah! I also find it interesting that Jennifer Hudson has really ditched the AI "stigma" -- she is always announced as a Grammy and/or Oscar winner. I guess that what Adam has to do! -- one of these days!!! I've seen her on a few of these shows now and I don't get the best vibe from her. She seems to try to outsing her duet partner and doesn't seem particularly interested in sharing the moment together. Did you catch the last camera shot of her and Damien? Well I hope the best for these contestants -- it ain't easy -- though I get the impression that Blake does get very involved in their careers so that is good for Craig. We don't hear country music where I live, so I would never know without google. Looks like it's just me and you at the end, Stardust. Nice chatting with you here! |
