What does this mean, is he on his way there, or he's already eating fish'n'chips on Trafalgar square? Aleks, it seems that he's already there and they already had a rehearsal together yesterday! Someone posted a tweet of Dr. Bri on page 11 of this thread! Ohmygod I so should have noticed that. Thanks, Betty! I blame it on Adam and his misguiding grammar:)))

Ohmygod I so should have noticed that. Thanks, Betty! I blame it on Adam and his misguiding grammar:))) I think that "London calling" is a lyric from a musical that Adam was in. Maybe Hair? I am embarrassed to admit that I, a musical theater aficionado, don't remember. I think it is just Adam's way of saying he is in London.

Interesting: from Wiki: London Calling! was a musical revue, produced by André Charlot with music and lyrics by Noël Coward, which opened at London's Duke of York's Theatre on 4 September 1923. It is famous for being Noël Coward's first publicly produced musical work and for the use of a 3-D stereoscopic shadowgraph as part of its opening act. The revue's song "Parisian Pierrot", sung by Gertrude Lawrence, was Coward's first big hit and became one of his signature tunes.
Later, "London Calling" repeated X3 was used by the B.B.C. (British Broadcasting Corporation) during the Second World War (WWII) (1939 - 46), to introduce news broadcasts to Britain, Occupied Europe, the British Empire and Commonwealth, and British, Imperial, and Commonwealth forces and their allies, overseas.
And later still used in the Clash song.
