Stardust, yeah for getting back in the game. Cute pug too.
Coo.coo.ca.choo, that’s a good point about eating right after swimming. I tend to be hungry then too. Right now I’m getting that ravenous feeling after I substitute teach and I’ve just had a granola bar or something teeny tiny for lunch. I did better today than I have in the past so just realizing it and preparing helps.
Rihannsu, I am going to try some of the electronic tracking apps again, I like that the one you use can bar scan things. And yay! you brought some other resolutions to the party.
Csimms4, candy at work is the worst. Good will power.
4EverAdam, those sound like great activities. Jealous.
Gabriella, my DH likes to cook eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon for weekend breakfasts. I need to find a way to add veggies to that, I guess maybe peppers or zuchinni/cucumber strips could work.
Irish1139, you’ll have to tell us what they put you thru for your stress test. I’ve never had one.
Mehitabel, I used to lose while travelling but I think that my knee issues have maybe stopped that because I gained on my one QAL trip this summer. If you can do trips that require walking that’s a great thing.
Fiercelier, you and me on the sweet stuff. It’s anything chocolate for me.
Chappy, {{Hugs}}
Nica575, I think we may put favorite youtube listings on one of our theme days. I like the “five” brand of gum, my jaw gets tired before the taste runs out.

Exactly the same as last week with fewer spikes and dips along the way. May post more later on my new budgeting shape up plan.

Wednesday = Check In Day - How Often do you Measure
No change for me. I did go lower during the week but back up at the end.
rihannsu has already checked in, Yeah.
I really need to do mine on Tuesday night, lol. Almost did and then got lost in Stay, sigh.
Oh, I try to weigh every day because otherwise I forget.

I did my first weigh in this morning. Down 4 lbs. TBH I was hoping for at least 5 as I know sometimes the first week is water weight. I am counting calories with Lose It - didn't cheat once LOL. It's been pretty cold here so I haven't been out and walking as much as I had hoped. I did buy a treadmill and it should be delivered this week or next.
I almost forgot to come here this morning as I have been glued to all the news from yesterday's concert. I am hoping to be home this weekend for the shows and hoping there is a stream and I will dance while listening / watching. That otta burn a few calories !!
I hope everyone has a great week.

Hi All!! I'm down another 2 lbs but having problems overeating again. I do weight everyday because going up does make me be more careful about what I'm eating. Sort of makes me pay attention and reminds me to exercise.

Checking in after weighing myself for the first time in a long time. Up even more than I thought I was, yikes! Have been working at it this past week, but really going to have to get serious now that I know how much weight I gained back. Have not tried any online apps, so may look into that. Walked an hour Monday and this morning before breakfast, which is what I'm having now. Now back to finish last night's concert thread before I get hopelessly behind! Have a successful week everyone!

Jablea, thanks for the reminder it was Wednesday and I needed to come here. I was wrapped up in the tour results and I need to get back to them. So exciting.
Someone asked about my stress test which I took this morning. I am getting old and the treadmill almost did me in, but I managed to go for the appropriate time and it was a good test. I get the results in a couple weeks. PM me if you want to know anything else. Be glad to tell all.
I lost 4 pounds since I started 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am doing my Hilton Head Metabolism Diet which has worked for us before. It is really just portion control, no sugar, very little fats or bread, and lots of veggies, fruits, small servings of chicken and other lean meats.
Now I must get back to Adam's business. So happy for him. Finally, top of the heap at last.

This was a bad week for me, I gained .6 lbs..........just too much food the excuse being my birthday. I'm trying to get back to my regular routine of recording my daily in-take of food and excercising regularly.
It is bitterly cold here so I am very fortunate on to have a complete gym in my basement, my favourite being the exercise bike and the treadmill. I realize I need to do more weight training so that is my next goal.
Also to help me stay on track, I allow myself the daily treat of a cappucino sometimes even two and this helps me to not crave other treats.
Hoping to report some weight loss next week.........wishing everyone here a healthy and happy week!

Had always been underweight my entire life. Shock and dismay when weight was 148lbs last wk at drs. appt. Me being me moved my red zone from 148 to 152, at which point, drastic measures are called for, due to clothes being unwearable. Did beg relatives for a Magic Bullet and have to say that alongwith the Bobbin for Apples Pudding Cake purchased Kale and Spinach and various fruits. So, can say I'm proud that I made first spinach and fruit smoothie last nite and it was a-ok.
