I vote for Kenny Loggins. Love that song. As far as the rest, the thorn in my side is still taking a more talented spot. I'm just disappointed that Keith has not given him and honest critique. The best for me so far is Quentin. I don't understand the judges continuing not to give him a good critique when they give others a good one. Now I'm worried about Jax. Only one more spot since Clark is through and I'm just not that crazy about him. Joey is ok but I didn't like her Mad World. Like everyone here I am biased of course. I know quirky but I guess I just don't like her enunciation and not my cuppa.

I like Joey....but her Mad World was just OK for me. And yes, I'm biased. lol. I really enjoyed her Mad World. Her quirkiness comes across honestly to me, very Sia like. I haven't been able to watch a lot of the shows but she is my fav along with Quentin. |

I'm spamming. Sorry. Think the judges will regret down the line this save. Quassim is an entertainer but his last 2 weeks were really bad. with the kid still there. Big mistake, Big. They are getting a lot of shaky performances from talented people, I wonder if using the save now is a way to allow them to change the format from this pointless stressful waiting to perform nonsense. This way they can let everyone perform and at the end announce who won' t be back the next week. |

I think it is telling that Daniel hasn't had to wait to find out he is safe. I suspect that the longer it takes before they call your name the more the stress affects their performance. Lots of nerves last night.

I have a lot to say this week!  Wish they would talk to Harry because the way he is critical of minor things really brings the show down. Quentin "horribly out of tune?" No, way! A few bum notes, sure. But very few. Not even close to how bad Daniel is every damn week. And if I see JLo criticize anyone again for changing up a tune too much, I will scream!! Is it because she is jealous of their originiality and ability to NOT lip sing! I find Quentin mesmerizing. Even my DH, who has not been on his bandwagon went, "Wow! That was cool!" Then Harry comes in & tells everyone, Oh no it wasn't! And WTF?! Harry thinks people don't know what a simple musical term like arrangement means! Go read Michael Orland's twitter from last night in his convo with BoraBabe, ! I think maybe Michael is not a Harry fan!  At least, Harry was hard on Daniel too. Keith seems to keep making up things to praise Daniel about & JLo needs to stop saying he is adorable or cute! She hasn't said anything about his singing in weeks! I thought Joey did a lovely job with MW. No one can sing it better than Adam. It has become his song. But I think she did a good version, a "Joey version." She took all the high notes out, but she knows who she is & I like that. Here's Slezak's recap on Joey's Mad World. Love Slezak!! Rayvon murdered that song! Hated it! Harry shocked me when he said he loved the arrangement! Way too slow! I think it killed the whole vibe of the song. Adanna went first & that can be the death spot. And I'm still not sure how America is liking the edginesss of Quentin. I miss having a bottom 2 or bottom 3. At least we kind of knew who was in danger each week. Oh, Clark!! Flawless performance! Beautiful voice! He just bores me! Maddie? Boring too but she is the only one getting the Country music fans' votes. She will stick around. Tyanna! What was that? Why that song? That song took out every bit of her personality and stage presence! Bad, bad song choice. I think she has enough fans to keep her safe. Hope so, anyway. It'd be really sad if she goes home this early. JAX, I thought she did a very good job. She needed to redeem herself, after last week, and I think she did! My favorites: Quentin, Joey, JAX, Nick. Rayvon has lost me & he was in my top 3 earlier. Poor guy seems to have lost his MoJo! All that being said, I think Clark could win this season!! Right now, I would predict a Clark/Joey or Clark/JAX finale. Either way, the WGWG wins! Holy cow!! Idol is having Boy George on!! Love him!! This should be good!!

Watching last night just made me remember how wonderful Adam was week after week in so many ways. I really miss him on my television!!! I can see why they saved Qaasim -- he really did put on a performance. I never liked the whole "singing for your life" aspect of the show anyway. I was disappointed with Tyanna. I liked the performances of Joey, Quentin and Jax. I know everyone wants Daniel to go next, but I would like Maddie gone. At least Daniel has some personality, Maddie seems wooden or pageant as Harry suggested. Her song had no life, plus, as someone else said on this board, her hair looks like it's been dipped in blood and her outfit styling was not good (IMO). |
