cassie you're not imagining this is EXACTLY what he does in this interview. I had never seen this interview either.. and what else was facinating and something I have noticed in other interviews that were translated to him before he can answer.. is how fluid the interview remains.. so that you kinda of believe he understands the language.. it was very apparent to me in this interview.. Thanks for posting this..

I've been searching and can only find the two vids (Sleepwalker and WWFM), too. I know the vids were posted in June 2010, but I think they were recorded during the March 2010 Euro portion of the promo tour.

Arg! The voice-over is maddening!!! :-) have you ever listened american film/ tv-series in German? They dub everything. e.g. the bold and the beautiful B&B Best of (german) part 3 (Brooke vs. Taylor)

Is it me, or are there a few seconds where this guy looks like he's ready to take a bite out of Adam? Not that I can blame him ... Also, I wonder if any audio ninjas can take the voiceover down enough so that it's not twice as loud as Adam's response. I agree, it's incredibly seamless and still very connected despite the on-the-spot translation happening.

Does anyone really know much about this radio station? It is an online-only station. I think it's lovely that they are airing this program, but I'm having trouble getting too excited about what seems like "home-made" radio. My feeling is that the audience for Angelina's program is online Adam fans. I may be all off here. This is all I can find on their Web site that explains the station: "We are an online radio station offering a mix of Talk and Music titles of different genres. If you would like us to broadcast your recorded productions email us at info@mywordradio.com for further details." Does anyone know more? What kind of listenership? holst:I put your question about www.mywordradio.com to Angelina, and this is what she said: "The station is a combination of BBC Radio 4 and Classical FM, so if you listen to it, you'll see they only really present more good, "serious" stuff and they're really into books and poetry, but they do play pop music too from time-to-time - not sure about the likes of Gaga or anyone like that - at the moment anyway - don't know if they plan to do something like that in the future - have a suspicion, probably not. That's why they originally asked if I could present a programme on opera and specifically, the human vocal instrument. The great thing about them is that they give new works and new artists a chance. We used to have a very beloved radio presenter in the UK, called John Peele, but sadly he died a few years back - he championed new work and new artists and was almost solely responsible for the careers of many famous pop/rock artists and this radio station, mywordradio, seems to be trying to fill the gap left by that remarkable man - but in a slightly different manner - as I said, mostly with writers and poets, but now also with ADAM in the UK!!! I believe their listeners are from around the world, but obviously mostly UK based and although I've asked, they don't currently have a way of telling the demographic, so no info available on age-groups, or occupation, etc. However, they are able to tell me how many peeps and from which countries/cities are online at any one time. Because of the content of the programmes, I get a feeling that their listenership is a very wide age-range, because even though I don't listen all the time, the few times that I have been on there, I've found some quite "young" books, too, and interesting works by female and gay writers - the owner of the station is herself, I believe, a lesbian. But it put me in mind of Adam's audiences at the GNT's I attended, so in the end I agreed to present a programme only if I could also talk about Adam's voice as well. If the "pop" stations won't play him, I figured it can't hurt to try to get him played on a more serious station. They apparently have a large listenership during the day especially, and I imagine it's people working at computers who tune in whilst they're working, but we'd carefully researched the time to present my programme, because they knew that I wanted to include Adam's voice in as many of my programmes as I can, and I wanted as many people to be able, time-wise, to hear it. That's all I know - for now! Hope it helps?"So, NO, it is not an on-line station for Adam fans.
