LOL! I'm back now and I want to thank you Q3, Talon, Queenofthenight, and 4ms for answering my 'Fried Chicken' question. lol I really enjoyed the vids. So much fun to see Freddie, Brian, Roger, and John working on the song and having fun! Now when Adam sings 'Fried Chicken' I'll have a big smile on my face instead of the confused look I had before I knew the song's storyline.

I think it was very clever to start the 2014/15 QAL in North America. There were lots of Glamberts at my show which was fairly early in the run. It gave them an audience that was on Adam's side from the get-go and it allowed QAL to perform/rehearse/gel before heading to countries that might have more critical audiences. Plus it provided momentum with all those sold-out arenas and I'm sure bolstered Adam's confidence. Watching these England videos, I feel that Adam is more relaxed and more in command than when I saw him -- although I did love my show -- I mean, everyone gets better with practice and postive feedback. I'm so happy for Adam and I absolutely love the picture of him listening to his next single!!! Can't wait.

iHeart was also the first QAL on American soil. There could have been a discussion among the three of them. "Now Adam, this is in your territory, these are your people and they know you better than us old blokes" And while Glamberts of course represented in the 2012 Europe QALs the immediate response to the iHeart announcement and ticket sales was Glamberts, Glamberts. Sure there are plenty of Queen fans in the US, but the I'm buying a ticket to see Queen at the end of the night meme didn't stand a chance against the I will be anywhere that only costs an arm to see Adam. Now the problem was that Glamberts by themselves could not beat out fans of other artists and record executives and be the majority of the crowd. But this was not a QAL concert, this was not a retrospective for Freddie, it was not a Queen audience. Bri and Roger were along for the ride but Adam needed to be there to represent himself. He may have had the Warner Brother's deal inked, maybe not. But this was not the time to take the back seat, he had to be the driver, and being the driver worked. I think there was an even larger circle as well. While the show may have gone down the tubes in the last few years, The AMERICAN IDOL TOUR used to sell out stadiums. It sure did in 2009. I saw the Idol tour at the Washington DC Verizon Center that year and the place was packed. And a large majority of them were specifically there to see Adam. Now, many of these people probably did not become bona fide Glamberts. They were fans of the show but THEY KNEW ADAM AND QUEEN. Seeing a Q+AL was an Idol dream come true. So, you add the die-hard Glamberts, the die-hard Queen folk who wanted to see Bri&Rog one more time, PLUS that huge audience of people who were neither die-hard Glamberts or Queenies but average Joes who couldn't resist the thought of seeing them together in a concert setting....and THEN, with all those three groups, you got the United States arena sell-outs.

Tossing in another ten (where do I find that lovely little money smilieman?) Overlooked Over and Under (or maybe Bottom or the Top ) Bottom or the Top Don't forget that our chronicler is going to be looking for dollar signs "$" and maybe even the exact "$5" So that if you say tossing in my "ten" or putting "five" on the floor is not going to do it if you want to be in the list because she won't find your submission. If you don't care about being on the list no prob but if you want to be then need to add the $ so she can find your post.
