Is it a cultural difference or does a Monday night seem like an odd choice for a rock concert?

Is it a cultural difference or does a Monday night seem like an odd choice for a rock concert? It's a tour! Any night gets booked! If acts had to only schedule on weekends, one tour would last 2 years!

I guess I was just thinking that they'd want to hit the major cities closer to a weekend and hit the smaller markets during the week, since everything in Europe is relatively close together. Whatever. They certainly know better than I how to schedule a tour.

www.20minutes.fr/culture/1524371-20150123-queen-revient-adam-lambert-place-irremplacable-freddie-mercuryMaybe somebody can send a steady stream of great english reviews to these guys? I haven't got time now to translate or to email them, have to run in a minute. But they obviously haven't been in the loop. The whole article is one big FLD, and quite negative. Bottom line: Adam Lambert doesn't have any talent, and it's a circus, and you shouldn't replace Freddie. And they say: "Les médias britanniques ont surtout noté que Brian May et Roger Taylor n’étaient plus au niveau de leurs grandes années." Translation: British media especially noted that Brian May and Roger Taylor were no longer in their best years. Mail address: contribution@20minutes.fr

We should be prepared, as the French are a law unto themselves, and mostly don't like artists who are not French! Possible exceptions are the Beatles and Stones. They have their own artists who are hardly heard of over here. Hopefully, Adam will win them over, which will be wonderful. I did wonder why the venue was so small. I have Iived and worked in France, and love the place, and also the people, once you get to know them.

I am afraid my French is very rusty now as I have lived here for a long time, and I don't want to mislead you. Our Canadian Atops would be best. Google translate will help. Do we have Atops there? I am pretty sure there are Queen fans there from back in the day, and there will be people who have travelled there from nearby countries.
