ETA: That French article posted above in really the most foolish thing I have ever read written about Adam's collaboration with Queen. I translated it but no reasons to actually dignify that author by posting it here. My only thought is that the author has not even bothered to watch a video of Q+AL. Otherwise, how could he write, [my translation] "does not having a thousandth of talent of Freddie Mercury". I hope someone from the Paris press actually reviews this concert. |

If you haven't discovered the vids that kinkykiedis uploaded for Leeds and London 2 in the last 2 days, you are missing something. Check them out here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCncdVHZ4ZYzLTkjQASGteIQMore of her Leeds vids (and close up with great sound) were uploaded during the past few hours, including WWTLF, the singalong and Tie Your Mother Down (just put them in the Leeds thread on the last page where Cassie put Save Me, saying the vocals are out of this world).

Her Leeds videos are a treasure. I think I figured out what is so special about the sound. She was standing in the front row, very close to a speaker with his voice played thru it. It is almost as if she had a direct feed from his mic to her camera as a result. Some of the other videos I have watched had very good audio, but it was recorded from further back in the arena and the sound of instruments, vocals, and crowd are all mixed together along with the acoustic properties of the hall itself. kinkykiedis' videos sound almost like a raw feed from the mic with very little reverb or echo. That makes it almost intimate in some way. Give them a listen. |

From what I recall the surgery was a bit dicey but they got them implanted just fine. I think he can even see out of one of them." |
