The Official Site photo ^^^ I know some don't like it, but it does really show off that wonderful smile. Can't get enough of it.  Yup, it's not the best pic of Adam, but I agree that anything with that dazzling smile is good! (Had to change my avi to a smiling Adam -- thought the other one looked too "angsty". I just love seeing him so happy! |

Yesssss! I am in Cologne, saw the arena on my way here from the train. But it is freaking cold! I had planned to get into that queue tomorrow, because hey, a chance to see Adam sing Radio Gaga right in touching distance is worth waiting for. But since I had to wait for the train this morning for 20 minutes, in the cold and rain and wind, I am not so sure. We'll see how tomorrow goes! I am here, and I'm guessing, so is Adam!! Now where are the designer shops, luxury hotels and hot clubs in Cologne  Just one night!! And then I get to immerse myself in Queen and Adam for two nights in a row!!!  Don't have any hot spot or weather advise, sorry. Have you heard of any plans by fans for Adam's birthday? I think I missed that discussion. Weather advice isn't necessary... It's just going to be bad, they say.  Have learned that the Germans have a special word for when it snows and rains at the same time. But I am prepared, I have assorted plastic things, and non-glam warm clothes. Just don't know whether I am really going to do it. But you'll hear all about it!! I know that in Cologne people will bring blue glowsticks for Adam. Found some measly small ones, not even sure they're blue, but I will be there with light. Don't know of any other plans. In Amsterdam (day after) they have a birthday card, and something else too, but either the people that are organizing it don't know exactly what they are going to do yet, or it really is super-secret. |

There has been some discussion that she may have somehow tapped into either Adam's or Brian's monitor. Adam's voice is especially clear. I have moved the kinkykiedis videos to the top of the playlist. The best guess is that kinkykiedis picked up the RF (radio frequency) feed for Adam's monitor with a wireless microphone. Her audio for all her recordings is a different mix than was played in the arena -- Adam's vocals are very loud. It is exactly how Adam's sound engineer described Adam monitor mix (what he hears in his earpiece). She did not pick up this audio from any speakers on the floor (floor monitors) because this sound mix is not played on anything but Adam's earpiece. Finally, she was standing on the floor and moved around a lot during the concert -- but her audio is always this sound. What a nice bit of luck to get these recordings!! |

I have a question about Instagram and the cute picture of Roger was posted and then taken down because Rufus had said not to repost. I'm pretty new to Instagram and don't really get it, so just asking questions here. How can you tell if something is not to be reposted? When I look at the picture I don't see any tags or instructions? Does repost have a special meaning in Instagram or does it just mean don't share the link with anyone? If so, why would someone post a picture on social media and not want it shared? Just curious about the whole thing ... it doesn't make much sense to me.

Like the quirkiness of it - seems very welcoming. Looks like a nice, friendly guy. Nothing to objectify. I've always thought this picture was odd but not in a bad way. It's a subtle way to put some distance between him as "performance guy" or "Queen frontman guy" and just make him Adam Lambert. JMO. |
