So disappointing that Brussels can't be rescheduled.  Are there any venues fairly close that might possibly work as a substitute?

intravenous antibiotics/fluids work miracles.  Also, B12 shots do wonders too.

Not at all. Since they couldn't reschedule it would have been an interesting alternative to nothing. *shrug*. A tour like that wouldn't work but a one-off?  Sure!

<sigh> Just comes down to "is it better to have something rather than nothing?", particularly since people traveled.  Happens to other bands occasionally too.  Dunno which one it was, but read somewhere that when some band got sick, they wound up doing a fully acoustic set one night.  Also, seem to recall that during one U2 concert when Bono was too sick to sing, the audience wound up singing most of the songs.  Is it ideal?  Hell no.  But if you don't know if you'll ever be able to see Brian and Roger again, would you rather have a total cancellation or something completely different?

Different people will have very different opinions. <shrug>
