I am very nervous for this new album. It sounds complex, it sounds like it's all over the place. Pop is not deep. Pop is not complex. Pop doesn't have vague lyrics that anyone listening to it can interpret in different ways. Most successful pop songs have minimal lyrics with a catchy hook. Simple. Catchy lyrics with a hook. Nothing against Adam's songwriting but Trespassing was sophisticated pop. Too deep for the pop scene.
I was hoping he would have Max Martin and Shellback write the songs and he would show up and sing the hell out of them. Songs by them don't guarantee hits but they know the formula. Hopefully I am wrong in my concern.
I just wanted radio ready pop songs that people found catchy and not thought provoking. That they found themselves singing because the song was ear candy. I hate Levine's squirrel voice but I find myself hearing Sugar and Animals in my head after hearing them. Having top notch vocals means squat if the song isn't stuck in your head.Maybe someone here can reassure me.

I'm kind of stuck watching Shosh in the background on that 2nd lillibop gif of Adam's incredible interview! Very interesting just watching her hanging in the background, looking a tad impatient about Adam, doesn't seem she is listening to the gems he is spouting about HOT/TOH! What must it be like to be his handler?

This is not the same as the setlists I post with YouTube playlists. With the song spreadsheet, you can see at a glance where a song was performed. It would be very time consuming to look at each individual setlist. Someone put a lot of time into creating the spreadsheet. Anyone know who to credit? |

Aaaah the last concert is tomorrow . . . . . . FINALLY !!! Queenbert is AMAZING AND AWESOME and I'm very glad they're not "over" but "just pausing" their thing for a while .And to be honest , Adam Lambert sashaying his way in heels and then "collapsing" on that purple fainting couch in a pool of golden fringes while fanning his gorgeous face to sing my favorite Queen song ever . . . . those Killer Queen moments will forever be engraved in my mind . I will miss it . BUT , I want more of what I'm actually here for , which is Adam and his music .
We've been getting some teeny weeny pieces of promo stuff that is actually making me crazy . . . LIKE WE'VE BEEN LITERALLY WAITING FOR THIS ALBUM FOR YEARS AT LEAST GIVE US A DECENT PIECE OF CAKE !
You know what I mean ?But yeah , I know nothing about the right promo strategy thing so I'm just speaking for myself and my selfish needs XD Sigh , I wish March did not exist !!! *kicks march in the nuts*
