I'm back from school vacation with grandchildren. Amazing how much good stuff I missed...slow reader so it will take forever to get through all the "goodies".
Sorry I missed so much, but riding an inner tube along the Water Park Lazy River and having my 10 year old grandson say, "Hey, Granny, it's Adam Lambert on the music background." made the day!!! We all floated along singing together.
hoopla 1 I hadn't seen the "If I Add You" video. clever, and funny and I will have to attend remedial stanning classes with you.
Loving Raja stuff today. Thanks all.

American Idol All-Time Greatest Performance Tourney Begins With Adam, Elliott, Ruben! by Michael Slezak To kick things off, we’ve got four different matchups: Adam Lambert’s “Mad World” (his initial rendition, from Songs from the Year You Were Born) vs. Adam Lambert’s “Whole Lotta Love” (sorry, Glamberts!); Justin Guarini’s “Get Here” vs Matt Giraud’s “Let’s Get It On”; Ruben Studdard’s “Superstar” vs. Anoop Desai’s “Always on My Mind”; and Elliott Yamin’s “A Song for You” vs. Mario Vazquez’s “I Love Music.” www.tvline.com/2011/04/american-idol-all-time-greatest-performance-tournament-adam-lambert-elliott-yamin/

I think KDLANG is a remarkable singer, her rendition of Cohen's Hallelujah is the best I have ever heard, IMO Epic. I was stunned at her snobbery in regards to AI,If a person is talented, what difference does it make at how he/she is discovered.Paying ones dues comes in all different ways. Once discovered, doesn't automatically give you the keys to heaven. Show business is hard brutal, fickle and so forth& An open door ,like idol, doesn't insure a career. I would think That Lang, knowing what she has gone through, would be more like Adam, Encouraging and mentoring to young talent.I'm a bit disappointed in her open negativity.

I love KD Lang's voice too and yeah, I agree with you that this was disappointing. I'm hoping this comes from a naive place and not a bitter one. She is one of my all time favorite female voices.

He is so great. He really, really needs to be a politician. A politician with music career, that is.
