Thanks for the warm greetings!!!The only BIG problem with this fest is that it's a ROCK thing. Like, crazy hard-rock loving fans come to slam, drink ALOT of beer, camp out in the airfield etc...in other words, GROSS. I dunno how Adam will fit in this atmosphere. Plus, the fans, who are mostly girls from 16-30+ are a little afraid - what it will be like to find themselves in the crowd of shouting drunken men... It's a one-ff opportunity to see him though.  What do you think?

zinnia I also think that Sauli has put some eye shadow or eye liner I dont know but I think he looks more beautiful.  Oh and the horse shoe necklace is Adam's 8-) Yes, there is a touch - not too much. And I noticed the necklace, he is also having the fingerless gloves on. I noticed the same thing about eyes and the necklace. Looking good! |

Love Dylan as a lyricist, and he evokes a time that was fundamental for shaping my parents and therefore my sister and I's world-view. (They did get arrested fairly often, very non-violent though :-) ). I'm really looking forward to seeing Adam's lyrical influence on his new songs. He is so great at "telling it like it is" with honesty and compassion.
Really glad for his tweets today. Everyone has their own sometimes OTT protective tendencies that flare up in this fandom, and mine tend to activate around people who don't respect his and his friends personal space and privacy more than anything else.
Just a personal trigger for me, based in part on knowing and loving people who have trouble reading social cues and therefore march all over boundaries and can cause a lot of pain completely unwittingly. I know that fans who do this obviously don't consider themselves crazy and are excited and mean well. However anytime you forgot for a moment to treat another person just how you expect to be treated yourself by a stranger, just because they are in the public eye, it seems to me like you are dehumanizing them, and that is a form of violence.
Regarding the festival in Russia, so exciting for Russian and local fans! They have been waiting patiently. There has been discussion on twitter and other sites that it's probably very important anyone travelling from much further away fully read about the atmosphere/potential hazards for tourists at a Russian Rock festival before buying tickets--it's a very different scene and audience dynamic than any of the shows Adam has been a part of so far. I'm sure he will well prepped and just fine -- just probably best to do ones homework thoroughly if considering a trip.
ETA: I see ilovehawaian also brought this up. I wonder if it's possible to ask about on AdamLambertFans or AdamOfficial? Maybe the mods can check with higher ups and give some more insight or advice? I don't know...

It's very frightening having people try to touch you.. Adam doesn't know who they are . They could want to do him harm& I worry about his safety all the time. I have a sense of humor ,but I don't think this is a funny subject. There are a lot of crazies out there.. John Lennon comes to mind as well as other stars who have been hounded and hunted. I do think the time may come when he will need 1-2 bodyguards. The more popular he gets, the more crazies will come out! |

Maybe not. How many times have we seen him finally speak up about the behavior directed at friends and family, after ignoring some BS that was directed at him? He is fiercely protective of the people he cares about. Just one of the reasons I love this guy.  I respect Adam really much! |
