This is torture....having to listen to the other Adam....with his new song "This Summer's Gonna Hurt".... guess he's going for the song of the summer....LOL. That is some horrible crap. Sounds like they have an hourly deal with iHeart so it will be at the top of the charts in a few days. Sucks ! LOL they had the wrong date for Adam. Dummies. |

I just listened to Underground for the first time--and only once so far. My first impression is that there are a lot of "Broken Open" electronic sounds/effects used. (I LOVE that song.) Of course, I love his voice, and I never listen to lyrics all that well for some reason. I was too busy listen to the musical sounds. This, for me, is another headphones song, like BO. With that song I used to make appointments with myself to just sit quietly and put headphones on and let the sounds swirl around. Underground has that same feel.
It there any reason why this couldn't be a big radio hit? There are so many different styles out there--at least on HAC. John Legend, Sam Smith, Adam Lambert--going for the slow emotional song.
ETA: I also love the effect at the beginning and end of a sort of vinyl LP sound. Probably someone has mentioned that. I'm just at the start of the thread.
