Just downloaded the leaked Kelly Clarkson song - Tell Me A Lie. I really like this song, it's on loop right now. Good boppy beat, nice melody in the chorus that I like.

Had the opportunity to go hear an acoustic set by David Cook today. A NW radio station hosted an event. A friend got in touch and she had received free tickets to a radio station session with David and invited me to go along. He is a very nice guy. He sang his new song plus three from his prior album. He also fielded questions from the audience and someone asked him about the judging this year on Idol. He was very diplomatic at first but then he opened up and said that the judges were not being honest with the contestants and not giving them real feedback to help them improve. He thought some of the criticism was way OT (I believe he was referring to the Haley judging). He said he liked Steven Tyler. Was a little evasive when it came to Jlo and really didn’t say anything about Randy. He also mentioned that he is going to go to Vietnam for a show. He mentioned who was sponsoring and what it was about but the details did not stick with me. Great afternoon. Adam is my number one favorite but David is the first contestant I voted for on Idol. I voted for Adam until my fingers hurt and speed dial malfunctioned.

Gah - its official. David Cook's release numbers really suck (projected 45-50K).
Getting really nervous about Adam's new album. Cook sold such HUGE numbers off of Idol. I know he's been off the radar for a while, but ACK!!!!. :(

Was Casey in 9? Maybe 10... anyway can't remember. But cute song and new video out today. 3000 hits in one day is pretty good I think. Wish him well. DS really liked his differentness.

It's Jay Leno so is not on You Tube. But I have confirmed, with other fans, that it is Allison. I guess she posted a pic on her Facebook. On the one hand, sad that Allison is singing back-up for anyone. On the other hand, probably really great $$ for her to be one of the singers for Rickey Minor's band on Leno. |

No close ups and not HD so I can't be sure. I think Alison is a much stronger singer than Cassadee. It's so unfair. |

Thanks for the info mys*&@^#r and YT adamuse. Yea, it sure is a tough business and talent doesn't always win out.
On the one hand, I kinda wondered if a girl could win The Voice given that men had won so far but on the other hand, I guessed that of the top 3, Cassadee probably had the best social networking support in place. I know nothing, of course.

Just went down the rabbit hole at the PINK PLACE (never been to any blogs before when Adam was in AI) to read about Adam's journey starting from Hollywood spoilers and this is what MJ had to say about Adam: :D Adam Lambert – Adam, the “goth guy” has been identified, and he’s pretty out there. He’s got the 70′s heavy-metal androgyny deal going on, and it’ll be interesting to see how far he gets. He’s got crazy insane vocal ability, with an amazing range, but due to his “quirks”, my bet is that he’s been cast as a “personality” type who isn’t meant to advance very far. According to sources at Vote for the Worst, he does really well in Hollywood, but no word on if he’s made the Top 50 or not. Besides music, Adam also has stage experience, playing Moses opposite Val Kilmer in the Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theater in 2004. MySpace You Tube. |
