Just got home and what can I say? Another fabulous evening with AL? That he looked and sounded gorgeous even though he acknowledged how tired he was? That he was so funny with his banter, playing with us and the DJ? That his voice has never sounded better? That the songs are great sung live? All of the above and much more that I'm still processing. He is such an extrodainary artist on so many different levels and, damn, he's so much fun! I had a great time and his happiness is still with me.
Sorta off topic but I recognized the jacket he was wearing was from the suit he wore at Wilkes Barre. How cool is that?

I finally got to hear the whole concert. That was the most beautiful thing, Adam singing his own songs for his own fans. I thought he was relaxed and thoroughly enjoying himself. As wonderful as QAL was, it can't compare to seeing and hearing Adam conjure up his own unique magic.

So glad you got to go to this-- and a bit jealous too- hope you are well and that we can catch up at some future concert!

Just watch that iHeart YT video again. Gary, Adam's monitor guy, if he can survive handling Adam for Queen tours, he definitely will stay with Adam. I sure hope so. Looks like he's going to SA in September with Adam.

Loved the concert...and I really prefer GT without the dancers ...just natural Adam. So relaxed and warm. Cute aside for me...my daughter in Boston emailed me to let me know "Adam Lambert has a new album...have I heard it?" It's been a bit of a joke in the family since Idol how much of a fan I am. Just shows how great the WBR's publicity has been !! My heart overflows with joy for him

Not sure how coherent that will be - I am still in a stupefied yet utterly heightened state. I keep thinking that it is not possible for Adam to have a greater impact than the last time I saw him and yet every time I am thrown into a state of utter disbelief at what I am seeing and what I am experiencing (though I would have to exempt the KTUphoria/Jones Beach show from this statement - probably too far away).
Guys, honestly, whatever you have to do to see Adam sing these songs - DO IT! And whatever you have to do to get close - DO THAT TOO!
The aura and charisma was unbelievable and yet the quality of it has changed even from QAL. He was so grounded and so much more the man than the boy yet without losing an iota of playfulness and adorableness. There was a radiant clarity about his persona and in his voice. I don't think I have ever heard him sing better and that is such an amazing statement that I am agog that I am even typing it.
Clearly the joy of singing these songs to pretty much an entirely Glambert crowd for the first time produced a mutual love fest. We were all bursting.
I keep thinking I am going to change and not have this intensity in how I feel about this man/artist/role model/spokesperson....... but one stride onto the stage and I am one of those bombs over Broadway.
I ask myself over and over........................WHAT IS THIS????? WHERE DID IT COME FROM AND WHY???????????
And then the answer is, who the hell knows and who the hell cares. Just ride it baby.
