Now, I feel a little bad that I didn't have more streams going or bought more albums. Don't guess being # 2 is that much better than # 3....right? Just 2,000 more albums....400 of us should have bought 5 more albums. Or just 2,000 of his 2 million plus twitter followers could have bought just one album. Hey, don't worry about the chart estimates! We did the best we could financially, and besides, the chart positions aren't everything! Being in the Top 3 despite all the competition from Duff and Nate is pretty damn impressive! Put it this way, we want organic sales, not fans buying up 2000 more albums! We want to see that the numbers increase because Adam is gaining more new fans Only then will sales and streams perpetuate! Remember that we're not responsible for Adam's sales numbers. A large percentage of the numbers must have come from WBR's publicity efforts (which were great) and I'm very thankful for that. What we can do as fans is to help throw in a couple more sales so that it'll stay respectable on the following charts The Glamberts did a great job ,as did Adam and his team..but I think Adam has lots of new fans.. and will continue to grow them....success brings more success Still streaming with Spotify and will keep this up like for a long time..LOL

It is HDD final estimate. So if you want to call it HDD Final that is OK. HDD does not get reports from all retailers. They base their report on 8 retailers. They Nielsen Soundscan numbers cover 99% of US sales and are the real numbers. HDD is a very good estimate -- and Adam will almost certainly be #3 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Billboard Album Sales charts. HDD also uses estimates for track sales and streaming. **** A general note -- please do not post numbers on this forum without a link to the source. Thanks!Do you think that sales via AdamOfficial would be notified to HDD ? Or would HDD use a guesstimate for those ? Neither ? They clearly treat the sales estimates for new releases differently than albums with history and account for presales but I do not believe they get sales data from MyPlay.com. And, no, Adam's team nor WBR would not provide any info to HDD. HDD builds their estimate based on reports of sales totals from 8 retailers and distributors -- that represent a large percentage of US sales and allows them to make a very accurate estimate. They use that to project the total. They do not publish this list -- and it might have changed -- but two years ago, MyPlay.com did not report sales to HDD, neither did Amazon. [MyPlay.com runs Adam's official store.] I know that iTunes, Target and Anderson (Walmart, Best Buy) provide sales totals to HDD. I am not sure who the other retailers are. Soundscan gets actual, transaction level data from 99% of US retailers plus reports of venue and event sales. It is very accurate and is as close to 100% of retail sales as possible. Nielsen gets actual streaming data from the services. Billboard has the data.

Jason sells the absolute crap out of singles and has a huge young fan base. If Adam does not pick up new fans touring, especially in the US, is going to be very difficult. Maybe he'll do a few music festivals over the summer, as he's mentioned promo is his priority and usually "younger" audiences attend these as something to do for their summer vacation? We can only hope, but most of those lineups are pretty set already. It is a real shame that he has never been a part of the summer festivals, I think performances in venues like those could go a long way in increasing his visibility to the younger crowds.
