Just a quick comment on radio-sponsored ticket give-aways. Not sure if it is the same for every radio station but this was my experience with the Morongo tickets. After spending countless hours playing the silly games to rack up points and telephone calls to win tickets, I finally scored 2 tickets. When I went to pick up tickets at Morongo, there was still a pile of tickets available. This young gay couple asked the radio station gal if they could get tickets. They were told to come back later. Another couple who heard also asked for tickets and was told the same thing.
There were several empty seats in my section and they were good seats (section B). After the show, I saw the gay couple and congratulated them for scoring the tickets. They have loved Adam from the very beginning and thoroughly enjoyed the show. So maybe if you don't get tickets and the venue is not far from you, you can try the same thing and you may be able to get tickets. (I did not see the other couple but I am sure they were also able to see the show).
ETA: Need to add Patti to the list. So good to see you again. We need to have another soiree. I think is a Casino trick, Mayumi, not a radio trick! When VIPs don't show up, they sell their tickets! It is how so many Glamberts ended up in Row one! I agree, seems like most of the really good tickets went to casino VIPs. They were in the center two sections first 9 rows. Side two sections first 3 rows. (I asked the casino event manager a lot of questions about the tickets and distribution.) This is what I was able to figure out: Adam got about 50 tickets -- a few went to the band, the rest to his friends and family. He did not resell any -- at least that is what two casino employees told me. (Usually artist sell these tickets and keep the money. It adds up.) They sold about 300 tickets from the Morongo box office and Ticketmaster. 200 initially and 80 a couple days before the concert. MY GUESS is that brokers got a big chunk of these. The casino got about 400 tickets for casino regulars and VIPs. 32 casino VIPs got 2 to 6 tickets and a M&G before the concert. These seats were in the first 7 rows center. The other casino tickets came without a M&G. The Trevor Project got tickets -- at least some of these went to donors who sold them through brokers. The radio station got a lot of tickets -- I could not get a count. I met some people in the lobby who had radio tickets but not up close. iHeartMedia got some tickets -- center two sections -- rows 7-10 mostly and almost all resold. **** From what I can tell, most of the empty seats were held by greedy speculators. I was in section B -- there were 18 empty seats for sale on broker sites in that section right before the concert and it had nothing to do with either the radio station or casino VIPs. These tickets were on sale on broker sites and priced too high. There were 6 seats in Row 5 that were empty and on sale about 1 hour before show time. These were pre-sale tickets that speculators bought. I am glad they got stuck with them. > Some fans next to me had mapped the broker seats from 4 sites before the concert so they knew what was left. They move from seats in the back to Row 7 then up to Row 5 in section B. There were 4 empty seats in Row 7 (next to me) that belonged to an Adam fan who upgraded to row 2 and then tried to sell her row 7 tix for around $200. She got these tickets on the presale. I do not know the source of the other tickets that were on the broker sites near me -- could have been casino VIP tix that people were reselling or Ticketmaster tickets that people were speculating on. *** I was in Row 7 Section B surrounded by casino ticket people and people who bought through brokers. I did not have anyone who got radio tix near me.

OThis is a great one for Adam!! This one is $$$$$ - right? Usually both a nice check and a good audience to perform for. *** They get a lot of big names to attend the Apple Inc. Beer Bash. Nice perk. Apple is reputed to have the best employee dining and events in the world of corporations. They are even better than Google.

OH! You Californians are sooooo lucky!! So many Adam things have been going on there this summer! Sand...sun....and AFL!! ETA: I really do love watching Sand Volleyball. During the last Olympics I was glued to my set every time the Americans Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor had a match. I think they retired after the Games. I'll miss watching them. I like watching the women play in Sand Volleyball. I like watching the men more in the in door Volleyball because the power they have is amazing to watch.

But likely too much to ask for from an event like this.

There is a point at about 0:45 where the kid gives his Dad a 'shut-up already, I am trying to watch Adam' look. LOL.
